Receiving the system notification Vayne let out a sigh of relief, he then sit back down to the ground and watch the others as his whole injuries were already healed by the potions.

Elea are bandaging the cuts and scratches he received while Lucas stand guard, on the other side Luna and Stephanie are drinking some blue liquid from a small bottle, the Mana potions I made.

Vayne then look down at his still trembling hands he then grip it to try and stop it, He know he died once already but being so close to feel that cold and emptiness once again scares him.

facing what just happened he realized his thoughts was wrong, even if his body would always restore itself as long as his core is fine that doesn't mean he can't die. It is only when he "dies" that his body would automatically recover and bring him back to "life".

He shake his head as he put these thoughts at the back of his mind and decide to check out the new feature.

Currently host inventory can carry a total of 40 slots of items, each items of the same kind can be stacked up to 99 before taking another slot, equipment, tools and accessories cannot be stacked. Items stored inside the inventory will not deteriorated unless it is set by host to do otherwise, items within inventory are processable without the need of taking it out, items cannot be used or consumed directly from within the inventory, items can be taken out anywhere within the range of 50 meters. Living creature cannot be stored within inventory, plant matters or trees can be stored within inventory, liquid can be stored directly into inventory and will count as an item, each kind of liquid can be stored up to 10 liter before taking up another slot. each item above 100g will take up two slots, each item above 2kg will take up four slots, each item above 10kg will take up six slots, cannot store items above 30kg. To store items, it must be in direct contact with host. Items bound to host can be stored without direct contact. Cannot store items that are currently bounded to someone else. Currency can be stored within inventory without taking up any slots.]

"That's... A lot of explanation, also if equipment can't be stacked doesn't that mean I can't use this as a handy bag? Well let's check it out anyway hopefully there is something in it, although with my luck I highly doubt it ahaha..." Vayne thought with a wry smile then mentally opened his inventory from the system menu.

The marks are made from complicated runes and technology from back from the age of gold, the marks uses the power of the world's law itself and at many cases represent absolute power. The marks can be from a force, an element, or even t.i.tle, emotions, traits, etc.]

"Huh... I don't understand any of that but that sounds awesome! I wonder if I could find one of them. Oh yeah, what can you tell me about the age of gold and the age of darkness?"

"Why delete it?! You should have keep it and keep trying!" Vayne complains fell on deaf ears.

[The age of gold are the first era of the world hundreds of eons ago where magic where at it's peak and technology are advance beyond our current time, at that time peace and equality reign the world. There was no conflict nor war as every race support each other until one day the first demon king rise to power. The demon is named Obeiron and he is a #-_&₱al pu+#&$ with serial number 1, he enslaved and forced the demon race to obey his every command and start invading the other parts of the world. His advance taken uncountable lives as no one had the heart to fight back and hurt the demons, his people the demons themselves curse and blamed themselves for every life they took.

After 6 years, Obeiron conquered the world and reigned as a tyrant that does anything he wants and bringing about the age of darkness. A hundred years after his conquest, a hero rise from the Valerian race, a mix between the dragon and celestian race, Named Cain. He is also a ma&#_$+ #@$&et with serial number 2. By now Obeiron has discovered a new power called the "marks", with his mark of king he think nothing of the little Valerian rebellion until he came knocking on his doorstep.

Enraged, Obeiron fought with Cain for 3 days and 3 nights. At this span of time Obeiron had also wiped out the rest of the Valerian race causing them to extinct. By the end of the fourth day, both Obeiron and Cain are mortally wounded. With one last clash both ended each other's lives.

With the death of Obeiron, the demon race were free but they couldn't forgive themselves even though no one is blaming them. The demons choose to seal themselves along with their homeland, the northern continent, in a pillar of light.

But this was only the beginning of the age of darkness, with Obeiron's and Cain's death, their marks broke into pieces and scattered themselves throughout the world. Soon all the receivers of the marks from races starts fighting over supremacy except for the celestian, the dragon, and the vampires who all three chose to isolate themselves like the demon race and disappear from history.]

After listening to the long explanation Vayne wanted to ask about what is the current era called but he felt a sharp object poking his cheek, he then returned his focus to the reality around him.

"What are you doing?" He asked Luna who were poking him with a branch.

"No it's what are you doing, you've been sitting there with a blank look for hours." Hearing what she said Vayne then realized that everyone is already prepared to go, he even noticed the tiger had already been minced beyond recognition, which probably take a long time to be done, and the sun is already up high.

Feeling a little embarra.s.sed by his carelessness Vayne quickly got up then walk past Luna and the others. With his mind is completely focus on getting away, he missed the grin on his three other friends faces.

After Vayne vanish behind the trees they turned their grin to Luna before going after Vayne. Luna who's now red all over are trying to keep a straight face as she followed behind.
