"Old man if you keep rubbing your eyes like that, they might erode". Chen Ming teased the old man who still found it hard to believe what he was seeing.

"Ming'er is that really you? I can't believe this, is it really you?". Lin Chen questioned still having doubt that this young boy sitting in front of him is his precious grandson.

"What do I look that different, it's only been a few days and now you can't even recognize me your own grandson, grandpa I'm hurt by this" Chen Ming carried on teasing the old man, hearing this the old man embarra.s.sed which made Chen Ming let out a small chuckle. Teasing this grandfather is really fun, this reminded of his own grandfather back in modern times. His grandfather was also like Lin Chen, they both love their grandson and would do anything for them.

"Ming'er stop teasing this old man, I'm just surprised that all, I mean who wouldn't be. In less than two weeks your appearance has changed and you gained quite a bit of weight. But my surprise doesn't surpa.s.s my happiness, I'm so happy to see you look so healthy after so many years". The old man said as tears started appearing in his eyes, he wished to the G.o.ds that his grandson will recover one day and be healthy and it seems that his wises are coming true. While he was distracted by all this he suddenly remembered why he came here.

"Ah I almost forgot the main purpose of coming here, you had asked me to grant you a favour, so what is it?", Lin Chen said as he said down on the chair next to Ming Chen's bed.

"I want to leave the mansion", as soon as those words left Ming Chen's mouth the old commander couldn't help but stand with more shock.

"WHAT you want to leave the mansion, why on earth would you want to leave. Do you know how dangerous it is out there, do you?". Lin Chen replied rather loudly, the reason he didn't allow Ming Chen to leave the mansion was that the last time he left he almost died from the attack by the bandits. If I allow him to leave then G.o.d knows what might happen, I can't allow him to leave.

"No, it doesn't matter what the reason for you wanting to leave the mansion is I won't let you go, I can't have you get hurt again like the last time", Lin Chen stated with a firm voice.

The reason I had made grandfather promise me a favour was because I was planning on getting revenge, revenge on those people who bullied Ming Chen and cause his death. I'm planning on getting revenge for him, this kid suffered so much. Even though he is pampered by his family that doesn't mean that others will do the same. To think that there would be people out there willing to harm and kill little boy like him, only at the tender age of 13. It looks like I have to convince this old man otherwise there is no way for me to leave the mansion.

"Grandfather, don't worry I'm not going alone, I'll take Tao and Bao with me. Doesn't that sound good, and if you still don't feel happy about it I will take two more guards with me if that makes you happy, how does that sound old man?" Chen Ming pleaded with his grandfather with puppy dog eyes, he has to leave in order to get revenge if he doesn't he will be breaking the promise he made with Ming Chen. Looking at his grandson practically begging to go out Lin Chen could feel his heartstrings pulling, how could he say no to this precious boy of his, he also liked the idea of Ming Chen taking two more bodyguards with him.

"ah fine, you can leave but make sure that you take not two but three bodyguards with you, I will pick the best ones to keep you safe", Lin Chen called both Tao and Bao and told them to make sure that they make Ming Chen safe otherwise they will be dead to him. After giving a lecture for an hour about safety, Lin Chen along with Tao and Bao left Ming Chen's room to let him rest.
