Chapter 10 Part 1 – Temporary leader
After Kang Hui left for the airport, Wu Hongrong frowned and asked, “where is Wu Xiaoshuang? How come I didn't see that girl here today?
Chen Minhao paused for a while and said, “she went shopping with my mother.”
Wu Hongrong looked at Chen Minhao with strange looks in his eyes, but he did not say anything about it. Shortly after, he left the studio as well.
After Wu Hongrong left, Chen Minhao looked at his hand phone, and saw a dozen missed calls from the same person who was saved as “Father-emperor”.
He hurriedly returned the call, and a loud voice resounded at the other end of the call once the call was connected. “You brat, you're all grown up now huh! You could you be so readily comply to your mom's instruction of not answering my call huh!”

Therefore, he had applied a leave of absence from his guitar instructor this morning. Chen Minhao who was idle after the recording finished early decided to look for Wu Xiaoshuang and his mother.

His mom was looking happily.

Chen Minhao said with a smile. “Mom, Dad asked if you are still concern about the business at the bun bakery. He said that he can't manage the shop without you. Also, why are you both fighting?”
His mother gave a slight nod. “You can ask him the reason yourself. I've been busy all my life. Can't I take a rest just for two days? I've planned to stay in Shanghai for the next two days. Anyway, I brought my bank cards with me when I came out.”
Chen Minhao looked at his mother's freshly permed hair and said, “but I don't have time to accompany you tomorrow. My group will be officially announced tomorrow. When I am less busy, I will accompany you around to shop when you come Shanghai again.”
Wu Xiaoshuang stood up and interjected. “I have the time though. Sis Kang had gone to Beijing, and she just informed me that she will not be back tomorrow, and had given me a day off. I can accompany auntie around. Also, Sis Kang asked me to tell you that any decisions you make will have to wait until she comes back.”
As the time was getting late, after having dinner together, Chen Minhao and his mother went home straightaway.
On the way back, Wu Xiaoshuang transferred 4000 yuan to him, and send a message saying, “auntie insisted that she buys a dress for me, I don't want her to be offended, and I indeed liked the s.h.i.+rt so I accepted her gift. Auntie also bought me a barrette that I also liked very much. But auntie's money are her hard-earned money, therefore, I'm paying you back the money for the gifts. Don't tell auntie about it.”
