At the same time that a simple and slow guitar melody coupled with a magnetic male vocal resounded through the recording studio, it reverberated through the hearts of the three people at the scene as well.

Kang Hui was shocked that she could see Chen Minhao's improvement so clearly within just a week as she listened to him singing the same song that he sang a week ago.

Wu Xiaoshuang was shocked at how a man could have both such good looks and talent in this world.

Wu Hongrong was shocked at how pleasant to the ears the song was despite having deviated from the usual beats that most songs employ. Furthermore, this song was written by a trainee who had yet to debut from a celebrity agency that he considered as mediocre.

Wu Hongrong was the first to break the silence. He stared at Chen Minhao with widened eyes and questioned, “You wrote this?”

Chen Minhao nonchalantly plucked the guitar strings briefly and lifted up his head. Looking straight back at Wu Hongrong, he said, “That's right.”

Chen Minhao was a law graduate, and had strong copyright awareness. He had already confirmed long ago that the song or similar sounding song did not exist in this world.

“How could it be? You have no musical knowledge though? How could it be?” Wu Hongrong opened his mouth, but all he could say were only these words.

Shortly after, he slapped his forehead and said, “Those who learnt music couldn't have possibly come up with a song that have completely broken away from the usual rhythm like this. It is precisely because you have no musical background that you could write without any restraints. This is G.o.d's gift to you, you are born to do this.”

Chen Minhao whose heart was on the verge of jumping out from his mouth when Wu Hongrong questioned him, made a decision to spend more time on learning musical knowledge. After all, he could not expect everyone else to be as “understanding” as Wu Hongrong was – to come up with a reasonable excuse for him whenever he do something inexplicable.

Wu Xiaoshuang excitedly said, “Second Uncle, I told you so on the phone that he have a pleasant voice, but you didn't believe me. You even went on to accuse me of coveting his beauty.”

Wu Xiaoshuang had always been like this since a young age. Whenever she liked something, she would compliment it as much as possible. Often times, she wasn't trying to recommend it to someone, she just felt her heart burning and if she did not disperse the heat, she felt that she would be burnt alive from the flames. She felt a great happiness whenever others compliment things or someone that she admired. What's even happier for her, would be when a banded group of people complimented the things she loved together with her. The feverish fevour was addictive and made her life filled full with pa.s.sion and excitement.

As the aforementioned “beauty” in question, when Chen Minhao heard the two words – “Second Uncle”, he instantly thought of his first encounter with Wu Xiaoshuang. The memory her slapping her own forehead and her weird train of thought overlapped with the middle-aged man in front of him, making him sighed internally, “people that are not from the same family, really don't live under the same roof!”

He remembered the good news Wu Xiaoshuang mentioned in the previous call that she could not disclose to him. He initially thought that the good news was regarding him being selected into the trio group, he did not expect the good news was this.

I'll definitely treat her to a meal when I have the chance in the future. Yes, it's decided, I'll treat her when I'm rich in the future.
