Motherhood suited Zylvia . The thought came to Kaldrek as he watched his wife putting their child to bed . The glow in her eyes, even though her face looked downright exhausted made his heart squeeze at how perfect she looked to him .

He snuck up behind of her, and slipped his arms around her waist . He leaned his head against her neck, breathing in her scent . She felt downright nice in his arms . The softness of her body as she instinctively leaned back into his arms left him feeling strongly attracted to her .

He kept himself under control and merely kissed her near her ear . Her breath caught in her throat and she offered him her neck . Something snapped inside of him, and he kissed her neck, tightening his arms around her .

She turned away from where she had been watching their daughter and went for his lips . He pulled her back to their bed, and held her close to him . She curled up against him pouting a little . He had not meant to stir her up as well . Not when she really needed to be resting from giving birth .

He needed to be considerate of her right now . She seemed to heal fairly quickly but there was no way she was over that endeavor yet .

"Sleep, love . " He pressed his lips to her hair and drew her even closer to him .

"Fine . " She mumbled, "I'll just claim your love later . When I'm feeling more awake . " She yawned and settled back into his arms . Her eyes slid closed and she was out .

Kaldrek brushed his love's hair away from where it was falling into her face . He smiled, realizing all over again that this woman had borne him a child . The thought made his heart squeeze painfully with happiness .

He wondered why he had ever been so scared that he might have trouble being a good father . Because as soon as he had seen his little girl he had instantly felt the desire to protect her . He could manage this just fine .

With a small smile on his face, he pressed his lady just a little closer to him, enjoying the feeling of just holding her close . He slid his own eyes closed and dropped off to sleep .

He was not sure what time it was when he was awoken by Amrunela's crying . As Zylvia started stirring he got out of bed and went to her crib to scoop her up . He did what he could, cleaning her up and brought her to Zylvia for feeding .

His wife took the child and fussed over her a little . Zylvia looked tired, her hair was a mess, sprawled out all around . But she looked sweet, holding their kid like that . He wrapped an arm around her, letting her lean into his presence as she fed their kid .

She looked up at him and he felt his breath catch in his throat . In the dim light, with her eyes slightly hooded from where she had been sleeping not long ago she looked strikingly beautiful . He bit his lip slightly . She really did test the limits of his self-control, and she was not even fully aware of that fact .

Zylvia smiled at him, "Thanks sweetheart for your help with this . "

"I…" He cleared his throat, looking away to get his brain under control, "Well, she is my kid too . So, it only makes sense that I share in caring for her . "

He was awarded with a sleepy giggle . And he found himself staring at the woman he loved again . She really did look gorgeous . He drank in the look on her face hungrily . Kaldrek found himself enjoying just how sleepy and vulnerable she looked .

"Can you put her back in the crib?" Zylvia handed their daughter to him .

He grinned, taking the precious bundle in his arms, "With pleasure . " He placed a kiss on her forehead as he got up, "Go back to sleep my love . "

By the time he returned Zylvia had already curled back up . As he climbed in next to her, he realized that she was not exactly asleep yet as she moved closer to him and cuddled next to him .

Kaldrek wrapped his arms back around her and dropped another kiss on the top of her head . The feel of her hair tickling his noise made his mouth want to twitch into a smile . She sleepily pulled back from his chest and lifted her head she claimed a kiss from him before going back to sleep . He smiled at her for a while before falling asleep himself .
