"One more thing. Remove the yearly bonus for that teacher named Serge. He annoyed me." Seth commanded. Back then, because he felt that he was somewhat at fault, he did not immediately retaliate, and just let himself get hit by that clipboard. But that does not mean he would not hold a grudge. He had just yet to think of the right method to get revenge.

The reason that he hesitated to get violent was that that teacher had not always been so abusive. Dressed in her school uniform, Nala Zefer was walking through the 1st floor of the Savant Snake alchemic school's high school building. She was heading towards her cla.s.sroom.

She had been away from school for almost 2 months. During that time, she had broken through from the 2nd stage of cultivation to the 3rd, gave birth to her first child, and then spent the next 6 weeks recovering from her weakness.

To be honest, she could have easily recovered from that weak period, had she just taken some healing elixirs. But it looked like her husband had completely forgotten about that option.

That allowed Nala to skip cla.s.ses for a longer amount of time, and to allow Seth to dote on her for all that time.

Currently, her newborn child is being taken care of by a nanny, the same nanny that had raised Seth in the place of his mother when he was young. Thus, she did not have much to worry about, and came back to school. It would not look good if she were to let herself fall behind her cla.s.smates by too much, after all.

As Nala continued walking, behind is a miniature shopping cart being push along. It is following right behind her, but none of the students whom walked past her could see her pulling it, nor could they see what is pus.h.i.+ng it. Only Nala can see the bipedal blue striped kitty pus.h.i.+ng it along. Everyone else just thought that it was Nala using a magic spell. Not knowing the truth, they would look at her with envy in their eyes, wondering when they themselves will get to learn magic from the school.

Inside the shopping cart, are various flowers and miscellaneous items, including baby clothes and kiddy toys. Today, as soon as she had entered the campus, one student after another came up to her, to congratulate her for giving birth to a baby, and to gift her something. Most of those students were cla.s.smates whom she had shared cla.s.ses with, but there were also some whom she had never met.

When she asked what was going on, they said that today is something called a 'Maternity Return Day', a day where all the students in the school have to gift something to a mother who has brought a child into the world this year.

Nala had a feeling, that her husband, Seth, is the one behind this. Otherwise, how could it be, that not only is this 'Maternity Return Day' set on the exact date when she came back to school, but the holiday before it, that 'Maternity Leave Day', was set on the day when she left?

Unfortunately, Nala knew, that even if she were to ask Seth about it, he would only deny knowing anything. While she thinks that is a charming part about him, she honestly does not think he is tricking anyone. There are already plenty of people looking at her all suspiciously.

The only thing that Nala is wondering about is, how did Seth managed to convince the headmaster into making all these holidays? Did he manage to befriend him somehow?

Speaking of her husband...

It wasn't until after Nala had enrolled into school here in dark ash city and made some female friends, that she had learned of the word, 'incest', something that, despite there being no laws against it, is looked down upon by most members of society.
