"Father is finally back. You have your mission. Go pour this poison into father's drinking water, and make sure he drinks it." One day, the stupid master said this.

"Kitty doesn't want to. Kitty wants to continue laying in bed eating his anchovy pizza." Said kitty as kitty brought a slice with dripping hot cheese to his mouth.

"...I see. Kitty likes his anchovy pizza. Does kitty want another serving?"

"Meow?" Kitty shuddered. Whenever the stupid master talks kitty speech, kitty ends up suffering. "No, kitty does not want to be overstuffed with anchovy pizzas. Kitty will go do his work."

Thus, kitty put down his pizza, stood up, received the vial of spooky black stuff, jumped off the bed, and scurried away.

This kitty is named Gelard, and is a veteran member of the Kitty Mercenary a.s.sociation of Kitty Paradise.

Kitty is a very handsome kitty, with glossy blue fur, sharp black stripes, and countless female kitties chasing after kitty's tail.

Kitty is a king among kitties, with countless achievements under his pouch.

Yet, kitty is a slave to that stupid master.

Originally, kitty was under a 100 year contract to take on any jobs given to kitty by the Kitty Mercenary a.s.sociation. Yet, the first job kitty was given was a 999 year employment contract. Kitty coughed up a b.l.o.o.d.y furball! Kitty would be dead before that contract is over. No vacations. No overtime pay. No chance of any promotion, meaning no chance at a backseat position.

But kitty did not give up hope. Kitty still wanted to live a peaceful life without strife, without any actual work.

Kitty waited for the stupid master to die.

Luckily, the stupid master was an expert at seeking death! Unluckily, the stupid master brought kitty together with him to seek death!

Kitty almost lost his life many, many times. But luckily, the stupid master died first.

Kitty was happy to no longer have to follow that stupid master. Kitty went back home. Kitty was then notified that the stupid master still had not died, and that kitty is still obligated to follow the stupid master. Kitty couldn't believe it. Kitty saw the moment the stupid master was killed! But the Kitty Mercenary a.s.sociation did not lie. Kitty reunited with the stupid master who appeared in a new human body. Kitty cried.

The stupid master did not die only once. The stupid master died multiple times, and each time, kitty had to go search for the stupid master's new body. Otherwise, kitty would be punished by the a.s.sociation.

This time around, the stupid master revived in a very rural place, with no internet connection! When the ball of hay tumbled past kitty's view in welcome, kitty's soul almost left his body. How long would kitty have to stay in this G.o.d-forsaken place?

The only good thing about this place is that there is no one here strong enough to threaten kitty's life. The other only good thing about this place is that they still have a dairy industry. They also have fish. Kitty will still be able to survive.

Right now, kitty is on a mission. Kitty has to find the stupid master's current father, and make him drink the spooky black stuff in this little vial.

In the first place, after meeting up with the stupid master, kitty has rarely ever traveled without the stupid master. If the stupid master is here, kitty can cling to his leg and rest his eyes while the stupid master does all the walking. If the stupid master is in a good mood, kitty can lay on top of the stupid master's head.

But when kitty has to walk through the mansion by himself? ...Kitty only knows the way to the kitchen where the icebox containing the milk, the way to the door leading outside, and the route to the pizzeria, is. Any other paths, kitty forgot...

Kitty is a master of stealth. When kitty does not want anyone to see kitty, no one can see kitty! No one!

Or so kitty thinks as kitty slurps a cup of milk while looking up from under the skirt of a human maid...

The sounds of dishes being washed entered kitty's ears as kitty wondered, why do human females wear undies...

Kitty sneaked from corner to corner, from one hallway to the next. Kitty skipped past the maids mopping floors, and the butlers cleaning windows. Kitty peeked on the soldiers talking about ****, and the soldiers doing ****, but kitty still did not find the stupid master's father.

Kitty found a young human male practicing his martial cultivation technique. If kitty did not remember wrongly, this young human male is the stupid master's current body's older brother, a different one from the one he killed. Kitty spied...

The young human male swung his sword around, dancing left and right. It was lame. Kitty went through much tougher stuff than that back when kitty trained to become a mercenary. Even the martial cultivation technique practiced by the stupid master looks far more impressive than that.

Kitty left the second floor and went to the third.

Kitty found that the third floor is mostly a storehouse, with lots of stuff that kitty does not care about.

There was a middle-aged human male striking a hammer against some rocks, and some more maids and butlers going around doing their cleaning. Then, there were some more soldiers doing ****. Kitty still did not find the stupid master's father.

Kitty went back to the second floor. Kitty's legs feel tired. Kitty does not want to walk anymore. Kitty slipped and fell on kitty's b.u.t.t.

Kitty feels down...

Then, kitty heard sounds of footsteps. Kitty looks up.

"Nala~ Help kitty~" So kitty cried.

"Gelard? What happened? Was Seth mean to you again?"

"Bye bye, Nala. Don't tell the stupid master I spoke to you again~, and dump the stupid master before something bad happens to you~" Kitty waved goodbye.

"Um. Gelard too, don't get into any trouble..."

Carrying a fistful, scratch that, paw-full of candy, kitty went according to the directions given by the human girl Nala. Nala is a good human girl. She always listens to kitty's complaints, and whenever she has candy, she shares it with kitty. Kitty very quickly found the stupid master's father's room. It was at the center of the first floor.

It turns out, that the stupid master's father cares a lot about efficiency. Living on the third floor would make him have to walk two flights of stairs whenever he needs to go out. Kitty understands. It is a very painful thing to do.

Kitty slowly pushed opened the door.

Kitty found a bunch of naked human females, all crowded around the naked human male that is the stupid master's father. They were all over him, acting like wild animals in heat. Kitty looks down on them.

Kitty closed the door. No noise was made. No one noticed kitty.

Kitty looked around. Kitty spotted a pitcher of ice water on top of a table not far from the stupid master's father. Kitty's claws came out...

Like a ninja... Kitty scaled the wooden walls.

Having reach the top of a wall, kitty turned 90 degrees and scaled the roof of this room upside-down. Kitty did not even break a sweat.

When kitty got right above the pitcher of ice water, kitty took the vial filled with spooky black stuff out of kitty's pouch.

Kitty removed the cork.

Kitty aimed carefully.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

Kitty waited until every drop fell into the pitcher. Once mixed with the water, the black stuff quickly dispersed, fusing with the water and becoming invisible.

Now, kitty just has to sit aside and wait.

Lazing on the couch, kitty watched the naked humans do stuff.

Kitty was getting bored.

Suddenly, the stupid master's father threw off the women.

With a very frustrated look on his face, the human male picked up the jug of ice water...!

It looks like kitty's job will soon be done! So thought kitty as kitty watched on in excitement.

The stupid master's father splashed the entire jug of ice water onto his face. Kitty watched as he took a big gulp down his throat.

Kitty's job is complete!

After wiping his mouth with his arm, the stupid master's father pounced on one of the women, pus.h.i.+ng her down with all his weight. But kitty no longer cares.

Kitty flees!

When kitty got back to the stupid master and reported kitty's success, the stupid master picked up kitty and gave kitty praise.

Kitty demanded a vacation as a reward.

The stupid master refused.

Kitty raised his greatsword and tried to kill the stupid master.

Kitty failed. Kitty was hung upside-down, forced to do sit-ups with his tail...

Kitty cried.
