Ann was so nervous when she saw how many people are competing, there's a thousand at least . The peoples who're waiting to get in are so much, a line was so long that she's thinking of just forgetting the whole thing . Suddenly she heard Jeff, "Why don't you wait here, I'll be right back OK!"
" What does he mean by that? Ann thought to herself . Jeff didn't give her a chance to reply, he just left and went to the directions were people going in after getting their numbers . Couple minutes later Jeff came back with it seems to be a printed number and an ID card . He told Ann to turn around then continued to stick something in her back, then turn her around again and pinned the ID above her left chest . " There you go! your all set, let's go! .

Once they're inside the building, they were separated . Ann was ushered were compet.i.tors waiting and Jeff, G.o.d knows where . . .
While Ann was waiting for her turn, she keeps thinking how did Jeff manage to get her in? Doe's he knows someone? Who is he? . . . Too many questions with no answer . She will need to ask him later after the tryout, for now, she needs to give her all, this is her future, she needs to get in .
Finally, it's Ann turn, she's a little nervous, but not because she's not confident, it's because of Jeff . She's more worried what would Jeff think of her, than the compet.i.tion .
As soon as she's in front of the judges, one of them asked her how old she is? Had she ever competed before? What made her joined the compet.i.tion? After answering all the questions, the other judge asked her what song she will sing .
Ann told them she will sing one of her favorite song t.i.tled " To love you more" by her favorite singer Celine Dion . One of the judged said, " go for it!"
