My efforts paid off, [Advanced Memory] reached the 2nd level and I memorized every books about the base of magic in the public library of the capital.

It was the day of the tournament, it would just be a regular 1 on 1 tournament, right now there would be 64 person in the tournament and it'll go down with every round.

Right now, most of the people in the hall of the [Royal Mage Academy] weren't exercising, warming up but they were . . . praying . . they all prayed to not get paired up with someone strong like the handsome me. I didn't care much, I just decided to wait until they would give us the match list.

The tournament started, I just decided to bet some of the money my Uncle gave me, obviously I decided to bet everything on me.

It was finally the turn of my match, I and Jobe entered the "Rings", I just called them that because they just looked like Boxing Rings and also because I don't know the real name of this thing.

After we entered, I quickly used [Silence] spell on Jobe, and I then used Wood and Earth Element to trap him, we then entered the fun part, I imbued my Arms with Earth magic then I started to beat him up, I obviously avoided the "eggs" because I wasn't a b.a.s.t.a.r.d and a man's "eggs" are their most important things BUT I still decided to hit his face because I'm not a saint.

In the end, I decided to stop because it'll take too much mana otherwise but I still decided to say to him : "Sorry, I wasn't in a good mood" with a grin on my face, though not sure he could've seen that considering how hard his face was beaten up. My next opponents just decided to surrender the fights, I eventually reached the finals.

And against me was the guy with the Level 10, he uses a Spear and the rare Thunder element. Even though I saw that his pants was wet at a certain place, I must say he is being brave for not surrendering .

I decided to honor his courage by not beating him up like Jobe, when we started fighting, I just understood one way from how he fought, his Combat Experience is equal to s.h.i.+t, when I saw that, I just decided not to waste more time and just finish this fight, I spent an Explosive [Fireball] at his face but he decided to use a basic [Thundershock] spell on it, the good point if I must say, it did a pretty good Firework, the bad point is that, either he's heavily injured or he's dead.

When the smoke from the explosion disappeared, I just saw him without any injuries with white foam coming out of his face due to fear, seeing that I screamed just one thing

"WHAT THE f.u.c.k?!" but after thinking more, he's probably the son of a n.o.ble, he must owns some pretty good treasure and the reason his level is so high even though he's pretty much s.h.i.+t at fighting is because he was helped in his monster fighting by some of his servants or bodyguards.

Seeing that the smoke wasn't completely gone, I started getting greedy and I might have stolen all of his treasure before kicking him out of the "Ring", waiting for the smoke to be gone, I started to think of a way to hide those treasures, I thought of how drugs was hided in some worlds by putting it in the a.s.s but naah . . I decided to just sell some that seemed useless to rent an inventory, in the end I was left out with only 2 Treasures, they were :

The smoke was then completely gone and while the staff member was announcing the result of my win, I received a notification from my Completed quest but I also received another notification that told me that a Quest was completed that was strange . .
