In front of the entrance of the mansion stood the maid from before, Ran.

Marco used Sylph's powers, which created a blade of pressurized air from the tip of his claw, then he slashed upwards with as much strength he could muster while Ran jumped at him, and the results were unexpected, but really welcomed.

The slash created a blade of pressurized air that cleanly cut in two the maid and continued to travel to the mansion, pa.s.sing through it.

Marco: *Whistle*

Then liquid dripped from her body and slowly corroded everything it touched. It spreaded through the room, covering and consuming everything it came in contact with.

Ca.s.sandra: Hehehe… This room is no different than my body itself now. Why not just surrender now and save yourself the agony?

Marco: Sorry but that isn't on the list of my options.

Marco opened his hand revealing a small black seal in the middle of the golden aura, and from that palm dark crimson and sky blue orbs hastily spinned around, forming a bijuudama.

Marco: I'll stop here because if I increase its strength I might get heavily damaged too…

Then Marco rushed at Ca.s.sandra while holding the orb on her hand, Ca.s.sandra blindly charged at him, and when her hand and the bijuudama came in contact, Marco immediately jumped away while the bijuudama exploded, and surprisingly it destroyed only half of Ca.s.sandra's body.

The rest was starting to slowly regenerate, revealing faces of different victims who looked as if screaming in agony, and slowly moved towards Marco.

Marco: Holy s.h.i.+t! ALICE!!! KILL IT WITH THE FIRE!!! PLEASE!! DON'T GET NEAR!

Marco jumped away from the faces that were scary as death itself. From outside, Alice sighed, hearing Marco's words, it was obvious that he was in advantage but something strange happened..

She raised her palm and a mighty tornado of flames came out, which started to burn everything.

Meanwhile, inside the room covered in sticky pinky s.h.i.+t, Marco could hear Ca.s.sandra's agonizing screams of pain, flames started to appear at a wall of flesh and made a hole, Marco jumped on it while he unleashed a big gust of wind in the sticky room, which increased the volume of the flames and created an explosion, Marco braced himself and flew out of the mansion with some burned spots on his back, which was slowly regenerating.

Marco slowly stood up with a pained expression and patted his back, meanwhile Alice looked on the burning mansion, expressionlessly.

All the other monsters seemed to have fled, leaving a deserted village.

Alice: It's over…

Marco: Yeah…

Marco sighed and deactivated the Chakra Gate, before walking with Alice out from the village.

?: You! Stop there!

Marco and Alice's body twitched from the sudden call in the middle of the silence, and turned at their side, finding a group with 2 familiar people and 3 other monsters.

There was a rainbow harpy with a tiny body, her eyes were heterochromatic, at left it was red while at her right it was blue, her hair was rainbow too. She had pink clothes and a claw-like weapons in her talons.

The second monster was a muscular girl which looked like a mix between a woman and a lion, she had lion limbs, a tail and a brown mane, she had black eyes and didn't looked amused. She was wearing a black s.h.i.+rt and short jeans.

The third monster was lizard, she was really tall, with long silver hair, she was wearing a simple red dress while at her side was a sheath, and in her hand there was a scimitar, at her back there was a lizard tail, at her legs and arms she had more lizard scales.

The familiar person was… The sealed Emily, apparently, and she was hiding behind the other familiar person, which only Marco recognized.

It was Paul, the secondary protagonist, and he was pointing a katana at him with an angry look, but he looked different a bit… After some checkings Marco could conclude a thing, Paul took monster blood to get stronger, he looked as tall as himself even if he was 13 years old.

Marco: Are you talking about me?

Paul: Who else is there? You d.a.m.n murderer!

Marco turned around and noticed that Alice was nowhere, then he turned back and asked with a raised eyebrow.

Marco: ...What in G.o.d's name are you talking about?

Paul: Now you try to escape like a coward?! After everything you did to this poor monster girl!?

Marco looked back at Emily, when the gears clicked in his mind.

Marco: Ohhhh… She must have fed you with lies…

Paul: You are the liar! Girls, let's go!

Everyone else: Yes!

The harpy started to fly in the sky and attack from the sky, while the lion and the lizard rushed each one at one side of Marco, to pummel him in the ground and slash him in two respectively, meanwhile Paul rushed head on.

Marco couldn't feel any change on his body, which made him glad that he had Author's Blessing, then he tried another trick, and let the 4 of them attack him, reducing Marco's body in… Dirt?

Everyone gasped in surprise and tackled against each other, while Marco came out some meters away and crossed his arms while his eyes narrowed.

Marco: I will give you a last chance, I am tired of sealing everything in my way, if you attack me again, I'll kill you directly, I can't have you four in my way… Same goes for the little yellow octopus.
