My Way To You 344 Over I

Ariana's eyes grew wide with horror. Edlyn looked up from behind her hands and wore an equally shocked face. "You don't." Edlyn started to say but Ariana stood up from the couch. "No Edlyn, I do." Ariana whispered then walked towards the door. "Where are you going?" Mrs. Dabney asked with a panicked face. "I just need some air." Ariana said as she faced the door, not daring to look at the others.

"I won't run off. There is nothing more to hide... Edlyn if you want to tell them my theory go ahead. I'm too drained to care." Ariana said with a panied voice then opened the door. She walked out then closed the door behind her. "I can see why you guys can't talk about your past so easily. It hurts to relive your most painful memories." Ariana said as she sat down on the porch.

The Lumas one by one started to materialized in front of her, each wearing the same remorseful expression. Vasu floated forward and looked into Ariana's eyes. 'It made you, you.' He said gently then placed a soft kiss against her lips. The act was fleeting and Ariana doubted that it happened but the small blush that appeared on Vasu's face convinced her that it happened.

Ariana caught Vasu and hugged him tightly. "Thank you." She whispered before her tears started to fall down again. Vasu snuggled against Ariana and the Lumas floated forward. Each finding a spot to lay against her, silently providing her the support she needed.

After a few minutes Ariana's silent tears dried up. She let out a deep, shaky sigh before she started to collect her Lumas into her arms. "This is way better then any therapy session." Ariana muttered as she rubbed her cheek agaisnt their chubby bodies.

Ariana wasn't sure how long she was outside for but when she walked back into the house she realised that she was freezing. Mrs. Dabney rushed to make a fresh pot of tea while Edlyn threw herself onto Ariana. Edlyn started to inspect Ariana but Ariana a.s.sured her she was fine. After everyone settled down Xander called out Ariana's name but he was interuppeted by Mr. Dabney's return. 

"The carriage is ready and will be waiting for us at the main entrance." Mr. Dabney announced. Mrs. Dabney handed Ariana a cup of tea. Ariana looked at the tea then Mr. Dabney. "We have to make this work." Ariana said with pleading eyes. "Don't worry. If we fail I just need to get caught with Xander in bed. It's the easiest way to make them marry us." Edlyn said as she pulled Ariana towards the couch and sat her down.

"Roselyn?!" Mr. Dabney shouted in disbelief. Mrs. Dabney shrugged. "Don't look at me. Ariana gave her the idea." She explained. Ariana started to sweat bullets as she averted her gaze.

"I need to talk to you when we come back." Xander said with a monotone voice. Ariana looked back, glad for the change in topic. "Alright." She said as she nodded her head. Xander stared for a while then held his hand hand out for Edlyn to take a hold of, not giving Ariana further explanation. While Edlyn was acting like a squid, trapping Ariana within her arms and legs. "Just five more minutes." Edlyn pleaded with puppy dog eyes. Ariana could see Xander's lips twitch and his gaze soften as he looked at Edlyn.

"No. Cayden is probably keeping watch too. You really need to go now." Ariana said as she slowly pried Edlyn's limbs off of her body. "I don't want to leave you after all of that." Edlyn said as her eyes trembled and started to turn red again. "I'm over it." Ariana said with a gentle smile. "Don't lie to me." Edlyn replied as she furrowed her brows.

"No, really. I slightly feel refreshed. I mean it makes me seem a little less crazy with you know... and I can't say being here is awful. I'm  getting another chance to live my life so I should be a little grateful." Ariana said feebly. Edlyn looked at Ariana doubtfully. "No seriously! I'm happier then I've ever been." Ariana said with a small blush.

"I get it... Cayden is a good kisser but my kisses are the best!" Edlyn said as her eyebrow twitched. Ariana looked at Edlyn curiously and was about to point out that Edlyn and her never kissed her when suddenly Edlyn grabbed Ariana's head and started to leave kisses all over her face. Ariana burst out laughing as Edlyn continued her kissing a.s.sualt.

"See mine are so much better!" Edlyn said with a humpf. Ariana looked at her friend then gave her a big hug. "Yes, your kisses are one of a kind." Ariana giggled then planted a giant kiss on Edlyn's cheek. "Now go on before your fiance kills me." Ariana said as she quickly glanced at Xander. He was seething with a dark aura that it sent a ma.s.sive chill down her body.

"Alright..." Edlyn grumbled then stood up. She then turned to Xander and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love you too." Edlyn said as she batted her long eyelashes. Xander instantly blushed and averted his gaze. "d.a.m.n!" Ariana shouted as she slapped her knee. "Edlyn your such a man killer!" Ariana continued.

Edlyn blushed as she looked back at Ariana. "This is just the start." Edlyn replied. Mr. Dabney's jaw dropped. "What the h.e.l.l happened while I was gone?!" He asked as he looked to his wife. "Honey would you like more more affectionate too?" Mrs. Dabney asked her husband, diverting his attention. Mr. Dabney turned a bright red. "Want another kid now?" He replied. Mrs. Dabney shook her head no right away. "I'll wait, thank you." She answered with a straight face. Mr. Dabney slump over, depressed.

Mrs. Dabney leaned in closer to her husband's ear and he instantly shot right. "Okay no time to waste. Let's get this over with." He said as he approach Xander and Edlyn. He then grabbed them and picked them up like sacks of potatoes. "We are off." Mr. Dabney annouced then trotted to the door. "And I will see you later." He growled to his wife with a blus.h.i.+ng face.

"Good bye dear." Mrs. Dabney said as she pushed them out the door. Ariana wondered what Mrs. Dabney whispered into her husband's ear but decided to not notice anything. She walked up to the door and together with Mrs. Dabney, they watched as Mr. Dabney ran with with both Xander and Edlyn in each arm.

After the three were out of sight Mrs. Dabney closed the door. She then walked into the kitchen and started the kettle again. "Do you want me to stay or go to my room? You have some stories to hear and I advise you do them tonight or else... we don't know what will happen or how much time you have left."
