My Way To You 341 Monty Gave Me His Power

"Emmy?" Eve called out as she looked back. "Can't leeb dis room." Emmeline said as she looked at Eve, her only good eye was completely void of human emotion. "Emmy, we need to go." Eve said with a small plea. Emmeline shook her head no as she gave Eve a weary smile. "Unlce Monty is da boss. He has to bwing me out." Emmeline replied as a chill ran down Eve's spine.

"Why would she say something like that?" A cold voice called out. Ariana sat up abruptly and looked back. She then started to laugh coldly to herself as she raised her hand and brushed back her hair with one ma.s.sive swoop. "I didn't hear you come back up." Ariana said with a self mocking tone as she looked at the three intruders. "Sorry." Mrs. Dabney said apologetically as she averted her gaze. 

Ariana brought her gaze back to Vasu and just sat silently. Edlyn slowly walked up to Ariana then cautiously wrapped her arms around Ariana's shoulders, resting her cheek on the back of Ariana's head. "I'm sorry." She whispered but Ariana stayed silent. 'Ariana... I want to know too, why did she say that?' Vasu asked as he looked at Ariana's face. "How much did you hear?" Ariana asked as she brushed off Vasu's question.

"Almost all of it." Xander admitted shamelessly. "I see..." Ariana muttered. She then placed a hand on top of Edlyn's arm. "I must have been lost in thought for too long." Ariana said flatly. Edlyn shook her head gently as she tightened her embrace. "Your voice was carried to us." Edlyn explained. "I stopped the lesson and, well we came upstairs." Mrs. Dabney then chimed in. "Davita..." Ariana called out gently. 

A green light swirled in front of Ariana. "Why?" Ariana asked as her eyes looked at the light emotionlessly. Davita materialized, she flapped her wings and stared at Ariana. 'They are your family too.' Davita said nonchalantly. Ariana burst out laughing causing Edlyn to draw back her arms. Tears started to run down Ariana's cheeks as she laughed. However her laugh was not pleasent, it was loud, dark and self mocking.

"Do you want them to hate me? They already know how much of a monster I am! So why not let them know all my sins too?! Davita you are really something." Ariana said bitterly as she felt her rage rising. 'No, you have it wrong.' Davita tried to explain but Ariana gave her a cold, deadly glare, shutting her up instantly.

"My sister was properly brainwashed. Monty did quite a number on her little soul that she fully believed she couldn't leave that room." Ariana explained as if she was reporting the weather. "Brainwashed?" Xander asked as his brows furrowed but Ariana had no energy to explain, instead she looked at Vasu. "It took a single lie to make her leave that room.... Monty gave me his power."

Emmeline looked at Eve doubtfully. Eve grabbed Emmeline's hand then brought Emmeline's hand up to her own gaze. "I wan-ed you huwt. So Monty gabe me your nails as a pwesent. Only because I astd." Eve said with a dark smile. Fear struck Emmeline's eye and her body started to tremble. "Now don't stand dare, I want to leeb now." Eve commanded and Emmeline took a step out. She flinched as she did but she didn't stop moving.

Eve grabbed Emmeline's hand and started to run again. There was no way she was going to let her sister stay behind in that awful room. Suddenly more gun shots were fired. Eve dropped to the ground dragging Emmeline with her. They both were eerily silent as they laid on the ground. Soon they heard people running around and more gun shots were fired. 

Emmeline looked at Eve curiously. "I want dam all dead." Eve said with a dark look. Emmeline nodded her head as if an unspoken question was answered. Eve poked her head up and looked around. The room looked like a messy, rundown living room. There was smoke in their air, an overturned coffe table, a couch and large tv screen with a giant crack smack in the middle as if someone was thrown into it. The girls were hiding behind the coffee table.

Eve saw that the coast was clear and quickly got up. She then pulled Emmeline up and looked around the room again. There were too many doors to choose from. Almost all the doors were open accept for one. Eve walked up to the closed door but instantly stopped. A thick smell of blood was in the air and she took a step back. Her hand started to shake and she looked back. Emmeline was trembling.

Eve took it as sign to not go through the door. She turned then spotted another hallway. She dragged Emmeline towards the edge of the hallway and looked around the corner. It wasn't a sight for any child to see but at this point Eve could careless. "Tom on." Eve said as she pulled Emmeline along with her. Bodies, bodies had littered the hallway as blood polluted the air and soaked into the floor.

"Loot ahead Emmy, not down." Eve instructed as she slowly moved around the bodies. Emmeline quietly followed Eve's footseteps as they walked down the hall. A stretched out ladder was waiting for them at the end of the hallway. Eve let go of Emmeline's hand and turned to her sister, giving her a stern look. "I'm going up, follow toastly. If you don't stay toast you're dead." 

Emmeline nodded her head. Eve turned back to the stairs and then started to climb. As they climbed she spotted an opening in the ceiling. Eve slowed her pace until she reached the last step. She inched her head upwards and looked around again. It was dark, not like the big room downstairs. Eve strained her eyes to make them adjust. 

She then started to strain her ears. There was no sound, so she looked down and nodded at Emmeline. Eve then placed her hands on the edges of the square hole and felt something warm and wet. She drew back her hands. Blood had stained her hands. She wiped the blood on her dirty uniform and then placed them back on the edges of the square hole.
