My Way To You 307 Battle: Viola Vs. Edlyn Part 1

"I can't believe you're skipping cla.s.s for something like this." Rain said with a disapproving tone. "Let's just say I owe you one." Ariana said as she winked at Rain. "Oh, I would like to clam that favour if you don't want to master." Breeze said as he zipped up in to Ariana's personal s.p.a.ce. He quickly grabbed Ariana's hand and brought it up to his lips. He placed a long kiss on the back of her hand as he eyed Ariana, wiggling his eyebrows proactively. 

"Sorry favours are non transferable and expire if not used within 6 months." Ariana said with a business like smile. She pulled back her hand and started to rub it against her back. "Too bad." Breeze purred as his emerald green eyes flashed with mischief. "Take it back a notch Breeze, unless you plan to get beaten up." Rain said in indifferent tone. "Rain don't tell me your my compet.i.tion now?" Breeze laughed.

Rain looked back and gave Breeze a remorseful look. "Peppa and Cayden seem to be giving you the same death glare." Rain said as he pointed outwards. Breeze froze in place then slowly turned his whole body towards the direction Rain had pointed. Breeze waved but it seemed to intensify Cayden and Peppa's glares. "Now Miss Abela which battle ground would you like?" Rain asked nicely as he turned to Edlyn. 

"Sure be civil with Edlyn, as a teacher you shouldn't openly show which student is your favourite." Ariana grumbled as she crossed her arms over her chest. Suddenly Ariana stumbled slightly forward as a pain spread across the back of her head. Rain kept his teacher smile in place but he held up his index finger as it glowled a mint green. "Sorry Ariana, did you say something?" Rain asked he turned to Ariana with a chilling smile.

"Nope!" Ariana quickly replied as she she fixed her posture. "I thought not." Rain replied as he turned back to Edlyn. "Stupid nerd, should be thankful that I helped him hook up with his long time crush. Instead you pruposely bully me like I'm some sort of toy. You must have some pent up stress and can't find a better way to release it other then hitting a cute girl like me. You must still be a virgin, hurry up and pop that cherry with Ms. Hadley then maybe you can genuinely smile all the time and not just to your beloved. Seriously we all know how fake that smile is." Ariana ranted under breath. 

Breeze started to shake violently as he held in his laughter. Edlyn looked confused as she looked at Professor Rain's face. It had gone from ghost white, deep red, green, blue and finally black with in seconds. "T-t-tower 4, the water field." Edlyn answered as her eyes trembled in fear.

"Tower four it is." Rain said as he walked to the front tower on the left. He brushed back his dark green robe and revealed a key ring tied to his tarnished, golden rope belt. He yanked the key ring and it slipped past the rope seamlessly.

Ariana smiled as she watched Rain repeat what he did the first time she had her own battle. Back then Ariana was mad at Vera for insulting Edlyn, this time it was Edlyn's turn and she couldn't help but swell with pride. Edlyn was growing up and fighting her own battles.

Rain flipped the keys in his hand and this time grabbed a pure silver, twisted key with a dark, blue sapphire stone embedded in the top. The key twisted around the stone like a fisherman's net then curled outwards into a giant triple hook. He inserted the key and the door started to glow a navy blue. "You know what to do!" Rain shouted. The students scrambled to stand behind the mosaic art on the ground.

"I, Professor Rain will referee this official battle between the two first years." Rain shouted as he turned the key then looked at Edlyn. Unfortunately Edlyn froze and Viola took advantage of Edlyn laps of courage. "I, Viola Calypso, first year, top 10%, am wagering Edlyn's relations.h.i.+ps. All her relations.h.i.+ps, if she loses all her friends will be mine." Viola said proudly as she looked at Edlyn then Ariana. "Treat me well." Viola laughed as she looked at Ariana.

Edlyn flarred with rage. She was not going to be weak in front of Viola. She was going to dominate her. "I am Edlyn Abela, first year, top 10%, I am wagering Viola's mental capacity! If Viola loses she is to be admitted into a mental asylum and be properly treated!" Edlyn shouted with conviction. Everyone's jaws dropped. Edlyn smiled wickedly as she tapped Viola's chin upwards. "I hope they treat you well." Edlyn sneered.

Viola turned to Professor Rain and pleaded with her eyes for help. Rain closed his jaw and coughed. "Unconventional waggers accepted." He shouted causing Viola to pale. Suddenly Edlyn and Viola started to glow in a pulsing rainbow colour. Rain turned to face Ariana. "Don't you dare think I didn't hear what you said." Rain growled as he grabbed Ariana's ear. "I didn't say anything!" Ariana pleaded as she winced under the a.s.sualt.

"Too bad. You're going to be with me. Now battle begin!" Rain shouted as he let go of the key and walked over towards the garden, pulling Ariana along with him. "Noooooo! I want to stand with Cayden!" Ariana cried. "Too late princess." Breeze said with a pout.

Soon the towers started to spin along the mosaic art, moving faster as the seconds ticked by. The wind picked up and the students s.h.i.+elded their eyes just as the towers sunk into the ground and the outer areas rose. Giant water bubbles started to form and act as box seats for the students to watch the battle.

Below the arena it started to fill with vast amounts of water as giant rock formations sprouted upwards and the sun rose into a clear blue sky. Ariana gasped as she stood beside Rain. "Is this what you get to see when you step into the garden?" She asked in awe. "Pretty isn't it?" Breeze asked as he wrapped his arm around Ariana's shoulders. "You don't learn do you?" Ariana said as she pinched Breeze's arm.

"Ouch." Breeze shouted in pain. "Quiet." Rain said as he looked over the arena pensively.
