My Way To You 234 Draining

"You moron! You could have died!" Lobo shouted scaring all the earth fairies close by. "Sorry." Ariana muttered but Lobo still looked livid. "I'm really sorry big brother." Ariana said with giant, puppy dog eyes. Lobo covered her eyes with on hand and chuckled. "If you have that much energy to make fun of me then you're fine." Ariana brought her hands up and gently removed Lobo's hand so she could see him better.

"Cayden?" She asked as her eyes sparkled with happiness. Lobo flinched as Ariana embraced his hand with her own. He didn't know what she was asking. "Lobo where is Cayden? I saw him, he saved me." Ariana continued to stare at Lobo. "I'm sorry but.... No don't look at me like that anymore!" Lobo shouted as he ripped his hand out of Ariana's hands.

"Look as far as I know you found this place yourself. These little fairies opened up the ground and swallowed me whole! I slid down some tunnels while protecting Vasu! So I don't know if you were hallucinating Cayden being there but I didn't see him so it's impossible he jumped in to save you! You almost died and all I did was watch the lake like a moron while taking care of Vasu!" Lobo said furiously as he curled his hands and made them in to fists, clenched with all his strength.

"No you're wrong I saw him, I felt him, he gave me air!" Ariana protested. "No you practically drowned! You probably imagined Cayden because of your near death experience but Cayden is not here." Lobo explained through clenched teeth, he was practically fuming. Ariana knew that Lobo was making sense and how crazy she sounded when said everything out loud. She thought about it more and realized how strange it was that he suddenly appeared in the lake without Lobo seeing him. Ariana swallowed back her grief, her hopes of seeing Cayden were dashed again but there was a more pressing matter at hand. She blinked back some tears and steeled her heart.

"Vasu? How is Vasu doing? Did Mirela look at him? Can the help him or tell me what to do?!" Ariana shouted as she strated to get more worked up with every question she asked. Lobo said nothing and Ariana panicked. She tried to sit up again. "He's being looked at!" Lobo shouted as he held Ariana back down again. "I just didn't know what to tell you..." Lobo whispered as he dropped his gaze. "Just tell me." Ariana said sternly. Lobo let out a long sigh then brought his gaze back up to met hers.

"Turns out your earrings were draining the Lumas powers. That's how I hurt Duko. He was already weakened because of his time in the earring." Lobo explained. Ariana raised her hand and touched her ear lobes. "How do you know?" Ariana asked with horror reflecting in her eyes.

"Not sure. I'm mostly guessing. You're friend was freaking out when she saw Vasu then touched your earrings. She stopped flying for a second and her friends rushed over. She's okay but they made me take out your earrings. They're inspecting them right now." Lobo explained.

"Grandmother warned me... I should have thought things through! I fell in to a trap and I have no idea who did this to me?! To my Lumas! I should have talked to them more, they've been acting weird and sleeping in their bed more. I was killing them and I didn't even notice!" Ariana cried as she fought to sit up. Lobo tried to hold her down but he gave up when he saw her tear stained face.

"They are not dead yet okay. If the fairies can figure out what's going on then you can go save the others but right now Vasu needs you to be strong." Lobo said firmly as he looked at Ariana.

Ariana nodded her head. "Good." Lobo sighed and patted her head. "Go talk to them." Lobo urged as he pushed her head down playfully. "Okay." Ariana muttered. Then punched Lobo in the shoulder. "You're a pretty good friend." Ariana said as she brought her gaze back up. "Stupid, I'm a good big brother." Lobo laughed as he playfully pushed Ariana towards the fairies. "Stop stalling go on."

Ariana got up but felt horribly weak as her body screamed in pain. She wrapped one arm around her abdomen and tried to stand straight. "Okay maybe it's too soon to go by yourself." Lobo said as he got up and helped Ariana walk forward. "Mirela." Ariana called out. Mirela left a group of fairoed that were surrounding Vasu, who was laying on a pile of hay. 'Ariana.' Mirela called out as she showed made a complicated face.

"How's Vasu?" Ariana asked. 'How's Vasu? Ha, ha, ha! Seriously Ariana I told you to think before you acted! I made you promise but you didn't listen or keep your promise and looked what happened! Vasu is so drained and it taking a good chunk of us to sustain his life! When did you get those earrings! No better yet who gave those earrings to you?! They had evil intentions and specifically targeted your Lumas!" Mirela shouted as she pointed her index finger into Ariana's face.

"Mirela I got the earrings right before the Summoning Ceremony. A black worm creature gave it to me. Well lead me to them, apparently someone else had hidden them so I could use them to hide my Lumas. I was worried and just did what I was told." Ariana said as she looked at Mirela with a pitiful face. 

'What about jumping in to the lake! I told you magical creatures are afraid of you because of what your mother did but it also means there are some that resent you! Did you know that a trap was set up for you? You were stuck in a water loop set up by some water fairies! Stop trying to kill yourself already! This world needs you!' Mirela shouted even louder as her face turned red. "I'm sorry." Ariana said as she dropped her gaze in shame. 'Oh no you don't get to escape me that easily.' Mirela shouted as she fly downwards and looked up at Ariana. 'Save them!' Mirela demanded.
