With a heavy sigh Mr . Dabney put the container away and walked silently towards the bedroom door . He knocked and heard nothing . With a big breath in, he slowly turned the k.n.o.b and cracked the door open . "My love do you need me for anything?" He called out, too afraid to to open the door anymore then a crack . "Ahhhh! "Pascal sorry to bother you but can you clean up your daughter with that wash cloth . Be gentle and slow . I will take over after I get Roselyn cleaned up . " Ariana said as calmly as she could as she held out the newborn . Mr . Dabney's eyes rounded and he automatically reached out to hold his daughter . "Thank you . Oh! Mind her head . . . . The small basin and wash cloth are right there . You may have to use your familiar to heat up the water just a little . It can't be too cold or hot just warm . " Ariana instructed as she moved towards Mrs . Dabney .

Mr . Dabney moved slowly towards the basin and dipped his finger in . The water was just slightly cold and he stared at the basin as his daughter's face started to twist in discomfort . Once your done help her change into a nightgown and carry her to the bed . " Ariana said as she gently took the newborn . "Okay . " Mr . Dabney said as he walked over to his wife and gently lifted her up in a princess carry .

In no time the Dabney's were now comfortably looking over their daughter's face . She was swaddled in a thick cloth blanket and wearing a yellow knitted hat, that Mrs . Dabney had knitted ahead of time . Ariana showed Mr . Dabey how to put a diaper on his daughter and how to properly swaddle her . Mrs .
