"Is that the extent of your ambition? You'll need far more than that to tear apart the fabric of s.p.a.ce and time, Trill loser. Is this a game to you? Well, whatever, I suppose it's a start," Sylvester Tricko once again failed to spare Jodye Trill any dignity at all, "With me here helping you achieving greatness is merely a matter of time."

"Okay, you should head over to the other side now. Normally, your s.p.a.ce and ours should be separate. However, since your fusion is on the legacy level, it gets to exist within your s.p.a.ce." said Xavier before running and jumping up, as he disappeared into the third page of the grimoire.

"To be more specific, your consciousness has already fused with the consciousness of that over-sized lizard," mocked Sylvester.

"Legacy level?" asked Jodye Trill, who felt some incomprehensible anger from Sly calling Janair Mazi a lizard. This reminded him! When he asked Trippy about the "dual" and "perfect" statuses, Trippy ignored him and simply answered for the "legacy" status. Thinking up to here, he subconsciously looked at Sylvester.

"You'll figure it out," Sylvester Tricko laid on the ground and closed his eyes.

Hearing Sylvester, Jodye was further frustrated. However, he walked over to the other side obediently. He had an abnormally large sense of trust for the young sky wolf. Right before crossing the dividing line, he stopped abruptly. He then turned his body to look at the giant grimoire hanging wide open in the starry void. Jodye received the strangest sensation as he was about to cross to the other side. The [Cosmos Revolving Grimoire] seemed to be calling out to him.

As he neared the grimoire, it also floated lower to accommodate himself, until it met Jodye right in front of his face. This huge ancient tome was not as ma.s.sive as it was on the Destiny Platform. However, it remained that it was half his current size at four feet tall. The grimoire did not speak to Jodye Trill. Instead, they seemed to have a telepathic connection. He could feel what the grimoire's intent was as if the information was being written on his soul.

The grimoire needed a pa.s.sword so that he could summon it out. Jodye remembered that Pharaoh's Law had registered the name Trippy of its own accord, likely for the same purpose. The difference being that he was using the urban jargon of his past life at the time, not speaking literally.

"Cosmo." After speaking there was a message waiting in Jodye's mind.

'Cosmo, registered.'

Jodye Trill then tried to will the grimoire to answer his questions. The grimoire flipped to its first page, which then lit up in ancient looking hieroglyphics. This wasn't the first time that Jodye noticed variations of this writing that he could vaguely identify with. Upon closer inspections, all the hieroglyph characters were made up out of many tiny runes that moved around as if they had a life.

To Jodye Trill's surprise, he somehow understood every word that was written. This was apparently due to his telepathic link with the grimoire, he honestly didn't need to read it. However, being studious as he was, Jodye still tried to understand the intricacies within. Since the grimoire explained to him what these words meant, he memorized this knowledge so he would be able to figure it out later.

"The perfect status refers to the level of synchronization, there are five, wow!" Jodye read, visibly surprised, "a perfect synchronization just means that the souls are fully cooperative and possess unlocked consciousness! The rarest of the rare statuses. Thus the benefits are greater! How awesome. The dual just means that I was baptized in chaotic force by both source artifacts."

In the end, Jodye wasn't so impressed with the new information, but the grimoire itself was worthy of exploration. He shook his head walked back to the other side. However, he suddenly stopped and glanced back at the artifact, "This tome has three core source abilities, and the first is the source ability Summoner. Each ability has a set number of seals, with Summoner possessing eight."

Jodye's eyes brightened, but he moved on none the less. There was no information on how to unlock neither source abilities nor the accompanying seals.

After crossing to the other side, Jodye Trill felt his mind surge with surprising strength. His thoughts were more evident than ever, and the flow of his thinking was even smoother. He felt as if the speed and depth of his ideas had increased by about 45%. What in the heavens and earth was going on?

"Welcome Host. First and second seals of Pharaoh's Law have been released.

Activating Pharaoh's Law will result in spiritual force augmentation.

Current limit: 1 level.

Meditating within Host s.p.a.ce will grant host 25% of the first seal's augmentation, without summoning Pharaoh's Law," the robotic voice of Trippy echoed through s.p.a.ce before Jodye had a chance to ponder.

Jodye Trill was dumbstruck. So this was only 25% of the augmentation? It was that strong?! Xavier thought the grimoire was a cheat code? No this, this was a cheat code. If he could improve his spirit by activating Pharaoh's Law, then would he ever deactivate it?

"Responding to Host query: To activate source artifacts one must consume heavenly power.

As long as Host has enough energy to endure, the source artifact will stay active."

Well, as they say: There is no such thing as a free lunch. Jodye knew it wouldn't be so simple. He looked at the large nimbus cloud hiding the huge dragon egg within. He could feel it resonated with himself on a spiritual level, pulsating like a heartbeat. He still felt as if it was himself inside the hard sh.e.l.l, slowly acc.u.mulating momentum.

"It's been quite a while, I think. I should return." As this thought occurred to Jodye Trill, a majestic looking sparkly bone throne, perfect for his size, appeared in the sky a few meters away from Pharaoh's Law. With a thought, Jodye was sitting in the seat. He instantly felt connected to his body once more. Suddenly, he remembered a particular issue.

"I have a question, Sly," Jodye Trill raised his voice to call out to the sky wolf pup. The latter opened his eyes to meet Jodye's gaze from a distance. Jodye could feel his intent, and continued, "I read that one can only have a maximum of 36 doors of origin. I seem to have 40. Was the knowledge recorded here just wrong? It seems unlikely that they would be so mistaken."

"Hmph," Sylvester closed his eyes once more, no longer caring about Jodye, "The answer to your mystery is right beneath you. You now walk the path of the Draco Volos. Leave me."

Jodye was baffled briefly, before glancing at the enormous magical egg. At that moment Jodye Trill seemed to come to a realization, as his mind finally relaxed and his consciousness retracted from the Host s.p.a.ce. Opening his eyes, he found himself in the same meditation posture as before. Only his surroundings had changed slightly. He was no longer eclipsed in a cloud of darkness, but back in the room he initially woke up in.

"Welcome back, my little heartbeat," Who could this bell-like voice belong to, if not Jodye's mother, Isis Trilleck. She wore a glamorous sky blue dress and was seated elegantly at a table, drinking tea.

Jodye Trill jumped up and ran to his mother, hugging her long leg that seemed to be made of the most beautiful jade. The latter put down her cup and picked her son up into her lap to hug him back.

"It's good that you're fine, it's good that you're fine." Lady Isis released a radiant smile from the bottom of her heart, tears welling up in her eyes.

As Jodye looked up at this now fondly familiar face, he felt an intense blood connection for the first time in two lives. This woman was his mother. He could feel the pure love she had for him warming the deepest parts of his soul. Suddenly his eyes begin to water as well. For someone who grew up as an orphan, surrounded by evil and treacherous people, to suddenly gain his own authentic, loving family, that doted on him so heavily was a truly wonderful feeling.

At this moment, Jodye officially accepted his role as Joseph Trilleck. He was the third child of the lord of House Trilleck and son of the first wife. If there were no mistakes, then Jodye was the most eligible to be heir to the house. This was his home. This place is the start of his story. If he becomes a legend one day, it would be him the wolves bow down too!

Finally coming to terms with his fate, Jodye Trill separated his head from his mother's bosom and asked, "Where's pops at?"

The next thing Jodye heard was a round of boisterous laughter as two men, one young and majestic and the other old and n.o.ble, appeared from the shadow of lady Isis.

"So you're finally able to remember your old man, ey? Excellent," said House Lord Osiris Trilleck, as a magic wind wrapped around Jodye Trill like a pair of hands, and lifted him from his mother's lap, gently placing him on the ground. "Now, come kid. Show us your strength."

Back at House Trilleck…

In the lovely looking courtyard of a large and beautiful palace, there was a garden full of multiple spirit plants, and a dozen or so maids scurrying around busily. A few meters away from the garden, a young boy was practicing a fist technique over and over again. The boy was wearing white training pants as he danced around the courtyard. Around his neck, there was a beautiful fang necklace made from origin gold and spirit wolf fangs, and his hair was dreadlocked hanging down to his shoulder. This boy was, of course, the young Joseph Trilleck!

Sweat dripped off his little body as he continuously exerted himself harder. After practicing his form for three hours, Jodye punched an iron sandbag for two more hours. This iron sandbag was of his own design. However, his father just had Ke Si do the work of putting it together. The bag had the resilience to resist an Earth Science Realm Sage's battle power, so the weight was quite a challenge for Jodye.

After exhausting himself, Jodye Trill retired to cultivate his mind, sitting on a lotus seat in the middle of a pond. There was a swirl of milky white origin energies gathering, with the boy as the center of the surge.

"This Brave Fang Collar can augment my focus by 30% during meditation," thought Jodye Trill, "Add that to the augment I get from Pharaoh's Law, and my energy control will dramatically improve!"

One month after his awakening, the now five years old Jodye Trill was sitting cross-legged, in the middle of a giant lotus flower seat floating in the bond. The origin energy in the surroundings was entering his body at a rapid pace. Only, it was leaking out just as quick. Many of the maids in the surroundings who had a decent cultivation base, and thus could feel the origin energy fluctuations, were shocked at the speed of Jodye Trill's absorption rate. They were left speechless at his total lack of refinement, wasting so much energy.

On the top floor of a pavilion to the west of the courtyard, a stunning woman was wearing all white garments that made her look like an otherworldly queen. She was graceful like a celestial maiden descended from the skies. She sat at a little round table on the balcony, drinking tea with another pet.i.te and pretty woman in a pink dress that tightly hugged her proud a.s.sets. Unfortunately, this woman, who would have been otherwise very pleasant to look at, was making a face like she swallowed a fly.

"How could this brat cause such a stir but fail to benefit in the slightest? It's an amazing waste." The pet.i.te woman was currently upset, grinding her teeth in frustration. "First his mother becomes the Frozen Night Master, which I was able to slowly accept. After all, she earned it with skill and grace. However, what I can't accept is that this seed of hers is just as dastardly talented."

"You should watch how you speak, Enora. That boy is highly favored by our Lord, and who can blame him. He has caused such a disturbance in the surrounding primary heaven and earth forces, without even possessing a mental cultivation method. Such a bright star is our family's good fortune." Said the stunning lady in white, in a voice entirely devoid of emotion.

Others may not be aware of the boy's circ.u.mstances, but she was. Most of the energy the boy took in would leak back out in a short amount of time, but that was only because he had yet to be given a mental cultivation method. The lord was still searching for one that was especially suitable to the child, he wouldn't allow him to train in an ordinary method.

This, of course, made his other wives jealous on behalf of their children. It had to be known, the House Lord very rarely showed his kids any affection or even significant interest. He was typically far too busy. Take Kamila Trilleck for example, she had excellent talent revealed at her host awakening ceremony, which was a few months after Jodye's. Two hollow souls of a mysterious rank, Kamila's fate gem had exploded, and she had been experiencing her Sage Body rebirth for about as long as Jodye Trill himself at this point.

She was practically another powerhouse in the making!

Why were this House Lord's children so formidable?

However, similar to his first son, Horus, the House Lord only spoke some kind and perfunctory words at the ceremony. He hadn't paid any more attention to this daughter of his since that time. Merely, it wasn't exactly like the lord didn't value his children, he was just truly too busy. He was, after, the lord of the estate! The leader of all the n.o.ble and humble members of the House, and they were a force comparable to Prism Rank sects!

The forces in the Great Motherlands were divided into six ranks, with the Prism rank powers counting as a fourth rank force. If the Grand Elder were factored in, then they would even approach legend rank status or in other words the fifth rank!

"Oh Lily, don't tell me you've been put under the mongrel's spell as well? Ugh." Jodye Trill's fourth mother, Enora Morning, slammed her teacup on the table, before standing up abruptly. "When my Jumoke woke up, his wolf soul blasted the origin chamber into gla.s.s shards and pieces of sc.r.a.p metal! In six more months, at the House's Young Wolf Celebration Dinner, Jumoke will ascend the Scholar-level battle stage! At that time we'll see who the true fortune of the family is, hmph."

Lylian Barong watched placidly as Enora Morning stormed out of the courtyard and onto her wind spirit wolf, Morning Cloud, before releasing a sigh. Her face became soft and gentle as she glanced at Jodye, "Such a diligent child. He follows his father's instructions to the acme, doing physical training for eight hours a day, before meditating on the lotus seat for four more hours. No...rather then meditation it appears that he is attempting to cultivate his origin energy. Could he have inherited a legacy technique? Alas, it can not be, or he wouldn't be unable to advance. Unless he doesn't understand it enough?

"However, how many children are able to make this amount of commotion without sufficient knowledge? Plus, without any guidance how well can he honestly do? How easy is it to eclipse the light of the sun?" Lylian Barong's voice was hazy and angelic as she s.h.i.+fted her gaze away from Jodye Trill, staring at the setting sun on the horizon, "I only hope that once you finally s.h.i.+ne you can share your glory with your eldest brother, little Joseph. My sweet child Horus would surely never allow anyone to harm his little brother. Since it's like this, neither will I. Otherwise, once he returns for the Young Wolf Celebration Dinner, he will surely fault me…"

Far away, somewhere in the Rodinia continent,

In a mystical region surrounded by a rain forest, seven youths in black and silver robes could be seen in pursuit of a young man and lady in yellow robes. Every now and then, a few of the seven youths would stop to attack. Streams of light were constantly flying out from the magic staffs in their hands, transforming into different elemental attacks!

Arrows of fire and ice crashed into the surroundings of the fleeing youths.

The young man and lady were both initially very good looking but currently had completely haggard appearances. They had competed with these youths for a treasure, and now they had to escape, or they would lose their wealth along with their lives.

"Hey, Goldwolf, you better hand over the vial of Lifetime Original Fluid!" said the leader of the thugs chasing them, "Your worthless master can't protect you in this secret realm!"

"Horus, what are we going to do," said the beautiful young lady in a panic. She had already been escaping for so long, but these enemy disciples were simply too persistent! "Black Mercury Sect will pay for this once my martial aunt finds out! Quickly, we must find a way to escape!"

"Don't worry Alice, I'll protect you!" roared the good looking young man Horus. Surprisingly, this young man looked more than 60% similar to Osiris Trilleck and 90% similar to Lylian Barong. This was none other than Jodye's older brother, Horus Trilleck! A pale golden armor suddenly condensed around Horus, as if it transformed from his skin itself. Horus suddenly stopped and turned to face the pursuing opponents, "Take a step back, Arthur! Your squad leader is in over his head. Don't make me use that 'thing.'"

"Oh?" said the thug in the lead as he stopped abruptly, signaling his companions to stop as well. However, he only sneered and said mockingly, "Over my head you say? You wouldn't dare, punk. Hand over the Lifetime Original Fluid and the girl. Do that, and I'll let you leave here alive."

Alice paled when she heard those words. Even though Horus was famed at their sect for being a chivalrous gentleman, when it came to a matter of life and death people would reveal their most savage nature. This was something any experienced cultivator was familiar with, even a youth like Alice.

However, Horus' face didn't change in the slightest as he responded plainly, "Not dare? Okay, Francis, let's play. Why don't we see exactly what I don't dare to do."

Horus' hand traced the ring on his left hand, and a groovy looking talisman was retrieved. He began to chant obscurely, before shouting 'Appear!' The talisman lit up with white flames and emitted a blinding golden light that shot into the air.

"f.u.c.k, Horus you're crazy man," said the young negus youth named Arthur. He had a spiked mohawk and beady eyes.

"NO!" the leader of the opposing team, a dark elf named Francis Black, was terrified when he saw the golden light. That was a defensive talisman that didn't distinguish friend from foe. It would trap them all in stasis until help arrived. He couldn't help but curse himself for challenging this madman, and he quickly pulled out his own anti-communication talisman, "Appear!"

The talisman burned in purple flames before a purple light shot into the air and attacked the golden light in the distance like a deadly arrow killing a golden dove.

Francis Black pulled out another talisman and was prepared to shout! However, how could Alice let this happen? If that talisman were used, they would both die.

"s.h.i.+T!" Alice cursed and withdrew a 3-foot long sword from nowhere and slashed out with a soft but swift sword art!

"Die, b.i.t.c.h!" Francis Black was enraged when he saw this weak little girl attacking his esteemed self. His palm glowed with a deadly light as he struck out twice in quick succession, "Breath-taking Palm!"

Splat!

Alice's sword was parried by the first attack, and then the second palm impaled her abdomen and came out on the other side.

"ALICE!" Horus Trilleck's eyes widened incredibly as pain wrecked his mentality, "Francis Black, I'll kill you!"

"Haha, how? Didn't you just use the Myriad Changes Sealing Talism…" however, before the words could finish leaving his mouth, the nine youths all froze in place. They were all stuck in their previous posture as if they were models in a museum. An illusory s.p.a.ce manifested and the forest looked normal again as if those youths were never there at all.
