During this hour, Jodye had also recovered 90% of his energy, but his source strength didn't recover quite so quick.
After Temple Sheppard Erykah Maat recalled his barrier and bid the group farewell, the Purple Sky Tower Master Hamadi Purple-Sky arrived on the scene to escort Jodye and company back to the Purple Sky Tower, where they were treated as special guests. Aiken Moon left with Grey Willow, Bilan, and Miran Moon. After all, he hadn't seen his family in far too long. Uncle Sigma and Ca.s.san spoke with the Purple Sky Tower Master for a while, before they also left. Before leaving Sigma handed Jodye an interspatial ring and made him promise not to open it unless Sigma was no longer in the world. Such a statement made Jodye sweat before he remembered what Sigma told him about the curse placed on this life star. Joovee Nile would of course not pa.s.s up this kindness, arrogantly picking out his own room to rest in.
The Purple Sky Tower Master could do nothing about this flagrant prince and led Jodye and Dessa to the third floor.
"In three days we will be announcing the merging of my Purple-Sky clan and the Winter Winds Sect into House Purple-Sky. I beg that you attend at that time, cousin. It would be my honor, and you can meet my mother," Hamadi Purple-Sky had already changed into n.o.ble purple brocade raiments as he walked Jodye Trill and Dessa Chimes to their temporary dwelling. He already knew that this young lady was the Right-Hand of his cousin Joseph, so he spoke openly.
"I will certainly attend. Please send someone to fetch me three days later. In the meantime, my Hand and I will be cultivating," Jodye Trill also stated his intentions.
"Excellent, it will be done," Hamadi Purple-Sky seemed genuinely relieved and excited as if he feared Jodye would reject his request. He handed Jodye a white jade tablet and pointed to the chamber in front of them, "This is one of finest cultivation suites. The origin gathering array inside is the most powerful on this floor. I will make sure no one disturbs you in the next three days."
Jodye thanked the Purple Sky Tower Master and they bid each other farewell. He held the white jade tablet up and the crystal ball above the chamber doors shot out a transparent white light that connected with the tablet, and the chamber doors separated and slid open. After walking inside, the two youths marveled at the size of this suite. The roof was a full 10 meters high and there were three separate cultivation rooms, a living room, two bedrooms, and a kitchen. Jodye tried to send his perception into the cultivation rooms but failed to do so.
"Awesome!" This was simply the second nicest place Jodye had ever visited. The first was, of course, the Magic Phish Lounge where he met Grandpa Geb and almost died for the first time.
Of course, he never really in any danger at that time. This was due to his mother's mighty strength.
"Mom…" Jodye Trill decided to take a quick nap, to recover his divinity quicker. He ate a few spirit fruit and then lay his head in Dessa's lap on the living room couch. Dessa blushed, but Mr. Jupiter was her life's savior and she was more than happy to let him use her as a pillow, a sword, or anything else.
Sleeping soundly for the first time in what felt like ages, Jodye Trill dreamed of a beautiful young girl with a devastating figure. She taught him how to read. She taught him how to dance. She even taught him how to flirt with women and rob people. However, the dream abruptly changed from a dinner scene to the beautiful girl's body disintegrating into nothing.
"Lulu! No!" Jodye ran forward as the home he was in also disintegrated into darkness. The beautiful girl's powerless soul reached out toward him before dissipating as he continued to run in the darkness, hand outstretched. He ran for what seemed like years before being blinded by a white light. After the light faded and his senses returned, what he saw were crystal-like blue eyes staring down to him. The most dazzling countenance he had ever seen smiled at him with tears swimming in her sapphire eyes.
"Ma…" Jodye opened his eyes and noticed that Dessa had fallen asleep at some point, laying on innocently on his chest. Jodye gently moved Dessa and walked into a cultivation room, sealing the door behind himself. Jodye tried to send his divine awareness out of the room and failed. He nodded his head in approval. He felt like he would have privacy here.
Jodye immediately sat in the lotus position and regulated his breathing. Jodye's Chaotic Thunder Annihilation would constantly circulate on its own while he rested or meditated. That was why to start this session of cultivation, he started to chant the Azure World Epoch. Jodye Pure Essence Qi started to circulate through his meridians in a particular pattern, and he felt his essence becoming a lot more robust. The refined fiend essence force from the previous battle all converted into pure essence force by the Cosmic Purification Ritual, nouris.h.i.+ng Jodye's qi geneses. Each little crystal genesis was currently three layers or more, and as the purified essence rained down the yin yang formation above Jodye's qi lake, the crystals all seemed to grow more fragments.
After an hour Jodye switched his focus to the Cosmic Vision Scripture. Heavenly source energy flooded into Jodye's eyes like water down a drain, but Jodye had already grown accustomed to this. His soul seemed to be far more powerful than Jupiter's was when he first started to cultivate. After confirming this, Jodye learned how to control his powers better. After recovering to his peak strength and even pus.h.i.+ng his Saint cultivation ahead by a bit, Jodye summoned [Pharaoh's Law] and boosted his perception to the fourth rank.
Using his divine astral essence, Jodye's mind re-entered the sun mark on his chest. Once he reappeared in this s.p.a.ce his soul took on his body's form as Trippy summoned the Vajra Scepter which appeared next to him like a lightning strike. Jodye suddenly felt that his soul form was a lot more stable, and his energy expenditure was reduced. Jodye had no idea wands had such a benefit. He glanced around and saw the treasure islands, but this time he didn't try to go near them. He simply waited.
"So it wasn't just a fluke after all…" a soft a melodious voice sounded out right behind Jodye. This time it was closer than last time. Jodye slowly spun around and he saw a little fairy the size of Little Blue but with two angelic wings. This fairy surprisingly looked more beautiful than any woman Jodye had ever seen. It was simply dazzling to the eyes, causing him to blush. However, upon closer inspection, Jodye realized that this fairy's aura was exactly like Jodye's mother, Isis Trilleck! There was simply no difference at all. What did this mean?
"Ma… Ma is it really you?" Jodye Trill actually felt choked up. He found himself on the verge of crying, this was an emotional response he had no way to combat. He never imagined he would be able to see his mother again so soon, even if she was tiny with wings.
Little fairy Isis frowned and shouted, "Your language, Joseph!"
"Sorry, mother. Is that really you dearest mother?" Jodye immediately corrected himself.
The little fairy Isis giggled and flew up to Jodye's face, holding it in her little hands. She smiled radiantly as if all of her worries were suddenly gone away. Her boy seemed to have been living well. How old was he now? He looked at least 16-years-old. "You should know the answer to that yourself, right?"
"Yes…" Jodye Trill was certain this was his mother the moment she reprimanded his speech. "But how? I thought…"
"When you found me, I knew that you wouldn't be able to stop that poison from consuming my life." Lady Isis spoke with that same warm smile and a voice that sounded like a song. She had nothing but doting affection in her eyes as she stared at her son without blinking. "Our clan has a secret art that allows us to pa.s.s down heritage and inheritances. This same art allows us to lock down some of our most cherished secrets or, in extreme cases, preserve our souls with our direct descendants."
Jodye's eyes brightened when he heard this. Preserve the soul? Did that mean?
"This s.p.a.ce is my Ethereal Vault and this form is my host soul. It contains 65% of my divine source, but I was unable to preserve my favorite combat soul. It's such a pity for it to die with my previous body," Lady Isis lamented with a frown. "Luckily, I achieved a breakthrough to divinity the previous night, or I would not even have been this successful in pa.s.sing my Ethereal Vault on to you."
Ethereal Vault!
Ethereal Rings were already rare enough, but what about Ethereal Vaults? Only a true immortal could possibly create an item such as this. This was only possible for those old immortal monsters. How could his mother's clan have such capabilities? Unless…
Looking at the flickering eyes of her son, Lady Isis seemed to guess the questions in his heart, "This matter is complicated. You may not be ready for the truth."
"Mom, before that, there's something I think you're confused about…I did remove the poison from your body. You aren't dead, but your situation isn't much better than death…" Jodye Trill proceeded to narrate everything that happened after he rescued his mother from the Dark Elves. Lady Isis was silent and listened to her son with wide eyes.
"Stop, stop," Lady Isis stopped her son after awhile and placed her hand on his soul form's forehead, "Open up your mind to mommy."
"Yes," Jodye Trill dropped his mental defenses and his mother read through all of his memories freely. Jodye was a bit nervous as there were many things his mother didn't know about himself. He didn't want her to look at him differently. However, wasn't she the same? If Jodye wanted to pry her secrets out of her mouth than he would need to show her some sincerity first.
Isis read through every one of her son's memories and this took a lot more than an hour, and Jodye stopped paying attention to the time. Secretly, Isis had wanted to do this right after she achieved divine tier source qi. Merely, she was ambushed and captured the next day. Now that she got this opportunity she could believe what she was witnessing. She had to go back to the beginning and digest it slowly. When she felt the boy's form start to flicker she even injected some of her own source qi into his soul form to keep it stable. Her shock deepened by the second.
