Two hours pa.s.sed by, and Joovee Nile stood 200 meters away from the four meditating youths, discussing important matters with Sigma Octanis and Erykah Maat. He looked warily at Master Grey Willow nearby.

"She is not an enemy, we will trust her," Sigma said in response to Joovee's gaze.

"I witnessed the end of your and Roger's battle. I recovered Roger Flankz' corpse after you left." Joovee Nile removed his Neofrost Mask and gave his report indifferently. "Once I felt the spiraling energy of Garuda, I changed directions. However, even though I saw the giant fire palm slam down on him from the distance there was no sign of Garuda's corpse once I arrived. You couldn't have burnt him to a crisp could you?"

"To this humble one, that is not surprising. I sensed Garuda had a hidden shadow s.p.a.ce opened in his heart. He seemed to be unaware, which is especially ruthless," Erykah Maat held his palms together as he spoke, glowing spiritual beads wrapped around his wrist. The spiritual beads seemed to be releasing invisible energy that spread into the surroundings. "I a.s.sume that the ent.i.ty within this shadow s.p.a.ce was at least at the same rank as myself. It is hard to tell. Killing Garuda would have been simple unless that ent.i.ty took over his vessel."

"Wouldn't that do unrepairable damage to Garuda's soul?" asked Sigma Octanis in slight disbelief.

"Amitabha. You may not follow the path of Buddha, but I am certain you know how vile these creatures are. These Unorthodox Sects truly have no scruples. Do you really think the Cove Master values the life of his subordinates?" asked Erykah Maat calmly. Sigma was speechless as he clearly knew the answer to that.

To the White Serpent Cove Master, all of his subordinates were simply weapons at his disposal. While he would value them, he would also throw them away when necessary.

"I don't think Garuda's done for just yet. His value is more than you think if he can be turned berserk. It would be truly terrifying…but also very brief," Joovee Nile's dark and deep eyes flashed with the light of wisdom. He flashed an evil smile with his devilish charm and gave a thumbs up to Erykah Maat, "You're a pretty strong old man! I don't think I could take you on at all. The light power of the Buddha Sect with the calamity might of the Vermillion Bird Flames. Your Vermillion Bird Temple is truly nothing to sneeze at. Lucky for us Voodoo Priest, you only operate in the North Ward."

"The southern Pharaoh Emperor's brother is your acquaintance as well, correct?" Erykah Maat glanced at this Neofrost Master, but he didn't respond to him, speaking directly to Sigma. This character was no better than a villain in his eyes, and if not for Joovee's a.s.sociation with his sworn brother Sigma Octanis, the Temple Sheppard would never be in the same social circle with him. Joovee Nile continued to smile and sipped some purple liquid out of an orb in his hand.

"Krimi Nile, the only magic priest in the country that would dare to call himself 'Young Demon'. The self-created a method to create curses from magic, something unseen and unheard of on this limited plane. He is indeed my brother, thus his son is my nephew. His family matters are my family matters as well." Sigma Octanis spoke regally as he commutated with someone on the light panel of his Serene Sound Mirror. "I want to thank you again for accompanying me, Eric. You know my troubles."

"It is my honor, you are my great benefactor," Erykah Maat bowed his body before Sigma humbly. "Whatever you need, my brother, as long as it does not go against the teachings of Buddha or the Vermillion Bird G.o.d I will do my best to help you."

"Understood," Sigma smiled and placed his hand on his friend's shoulder. "Rest a.s.sured, I would never ask for anything that compromised your beliefs. However, there is a storm brewing. Deity Succubus has just sent me a request for aid. It seems our cohorts have annexed us from their communication channels."

"The western paradise shall welcome them," replied Eryakah Maat peacefully. "I have news on House White Demon."

Sigma Octanis raised his brow, before looking at the brat whose body was currently red like refined metal a few hundred meters away. He considered for a while before saying, "Tell me."

"A grand wedding was held last month. After slaying the House Lord and conquering House Trilleck, White Demon Castle has settled on their land and renamed themselves House White Demon. They are brazenly operating in the Saint Anubis Empire, while their White Demon Temple and Temple Lord White Demon remain hidden," Erykah Maat's spoke solemnly, his face serious. "Pope White Demon marrying Priestess Frozen Night has shaken the entire nation. Her reputation…is as you can imagine. The fall of House Trilleck being her fault has been secretly spread throughout the entire West Ward."

"F&#%…" Sigma Octanis cursed after hearing the latest development. "Master Frozen Night should be charmed righted? This can't be her own will."

"According to the underground news, it's not," Joovee Nile interjected before the Temple Sheppard could respond. "Kamila Trilleck, daughter of the late House Lord, was secretly released from captivity and has been accepted as a disciple of the Khaba Inst.i.tute of Magic."

"How prestigious!" this time is was Erykah Maat's turn to be shocked, temporarily forgetting not to speak to Joovee Nile. "That is the largest Negus organization outside of the Central Ward."

"So is it extortion then?" Sigma Octanis frowned. Just for the girl? This was impossible. If her own child wasn't also a target, would such a powerful woman be so easily manipulated without being glamorized? "Perhaps, they have already known the ident.i.ty of the brat."

"No, Garuda should have only figured it out today," Joovee Nile frowned. "I also wasn't certain until that moment. I believe my mother already knew. Her power is far more thorough than my own, after all."

"After I am gone, you must not tell the boy about his mother," Sigma Octanis glanced at Joovee Nile, this mischievous fellow who wanted to see the world burn. His actions couldn't be predicted easily. "His current goal is Rodinia. With his talent, he can easily rise to the top in that land, far away from these cursed states. He must not go after the White Demon until he is more powerful than any of us."

"By then, I'll have already increased my strength enough to slaughter White Demon myself," Joovee Nile harrumphed. "Do not worry, it would clearly not be in his best interests for me to tell him. The very thought of this is like a crack of thunder in my mind. I do not wish to court death."

"Excuse me, gentlemen and evil brat," came a sweet elderly voice from above. Master Grey Willow slowly floated down wearing emerald robes. "I do not care about the secrets and affairs of your Northern Motherlands. Only the Central and Eastern Wards are of any significance. Merely, I couldn't help but overhear you mention young master Trill was interested in coming to Rodinia?"

"Indeed, his goal is to take my disciple home and establish himself there." Sigma Octanis responded with a smile, and this smile told Grey Willow that he expected her to take interest in this subject. "I would have taken them myself when the time came. Unfortunately, the situation has changed. You should know how to help us with this."

"Indeed, our very goal is the safe pa.s.sage of young master Moon. If your apprentice would like to venture back to House Moon with us, then this can, of course, be arranged," replied Master Grey Willow. "I will set him up with an excellent tutor. There are many prestigious sects and academies on the level of the Khaba Inst.i.tute of Magic in Rodinia. However, he will not be allowed to be too willful.

"I fear he would not be willing, even if you did take Aiken with you." Sigma Octanis smiled wryly. After spending so much time with Jodye, he understood how eccentric the youth was. He was simply a little ancestor, this was the reason Sigma investigated his past so thoroughly. He was convinced that Mistress Frozen Night wasn't as simple as she seemed. "He intends to make his own way over, after adventuring around a bit. It is unlikely that we would be able to stomach the idea of having his freedom restricted. In addition, I still have many things I need Aiken to learn. We will need a little more time before he returns. Two years at the most."

Grey Willow frowned, visibly annoyed, "Time, were you not just speaking as if your time had run out? Will you make up your mind?"

"The things that Sigma Octanis can teach your young master Moon are not something you can currently fathom. You should humble your stance, my lady," Erykah Maat spoke out in a kind and amicable manner. Grey Willow did not like his words, but she felt comfortable with how it was said. She considered the strength of the Temple Sheppard Erykah Maat, which was much higher than her own, and suddenly calmed down. She had indeed been ignoring some of the more outstanding aspects of this Master Heavenly Dog due to his strength being inferior. How amazing was a Silver Mage? But the power fluctuations from when Sigma Octanis slew Roger Flankz were indeed amazing.

"Two years," Master Grey Willow finally was willing to give up on being Aiken Moon's master. "I will take Bilan and we will return in two years to escort Aiken, Jodye, and Dessa to Rodinia. I will let House Moon arrange everything from there."

"That would be for the best. I promise you will not be disappointed when you see him again," Sigma smiled warmly at Grey Willow, actually making her old maiden heart nearly miss a beat.

"Then we will be leaving soon, less we get swept up in these land's troubles once more." Master Grey Willow quickly looked away from this handsome man. Luckily, Sigma was a Magic spell casting Mage and not a Voodoo curse Sorcerer, or she would be in trouble!

Meanwhile, Jodye Trill opened his eyes after refining the previous energy. He noticed that his Earth Science Realm cultivation had completely stabilized, saving him months of arduous cultivation! This was the magic of refining the purest flesh and blood energy of his Dracophant with his source artifacts. Jodye even felt knew knowledge flooding his soul.

"Right on time! I was just thinking about my lack of techniques…" He inherited an innate ability from the Dracophant, the Heavenly Charge! This ability combined dragon might with calamity and thunderbolt qi! It was as if it was made for Jodye. Of course, the excitement Jodye usually felt after succeeding in conquest was absent.

With his powerful divinity it wasn't hard for Jodye to hear the conversation between Sigma and the others. Especially considering they didn't conceal their voices from him, even though the Temple Sheppards beads seemed to be surrounding them in a barrier. There were already n.o.bles and warriors from House Purple-Sky patrolling the area and helping civilians, but they couldn't approach with 800 meters of the Silver Meadow Inn.

"My mother…" Jodye's rage was bubbling in his stomach, but years of mental torture and training in the military had already sharpened his mind considerably. He wouldn't lose control in spite of the weighty information he just heard. Not only was his ident.i.ty exposed, but his mother was forced to marry the enemy? His actions had indeed been too brazen. Jodye never imagined that information could be gathered so easily through two different wards. Apparently, the barrier walls were not as powerful as he previously believed.

"It's likely that those at the Prism Mage rank and above can easily pa.s.s through the barrier wall. I still don't know enough…"

Jodye was incredibly depressed, but what could he do? The enemy was just far too powerful. If he was to return home at this point he would only be slaughtered. There was already no going back. This grudge, for his mother, for his father, he would raise his own forces and destroy the White Demon with his own hands! It was his own luck that he was able to go on so many adventures and meet a gracious senior like uncle Sigma.

"Maybe it's destiny…"Jodye Trill marveled to himself. First, he watched his mother and older sister get kidnapped. Then his father fell trying to protect him. He narrowly escaped death and was teleported into the southern ward, literally tearing his body asunder, and then he lost all of his memory and convinced himself he was Jupiter. After regaining his memory, he decided to change this dirty world. After killing Oulan Mercy and avoiding death in the Dark Cave, he lost his partners again because he was too reckless and too weak. He barely escaped little Crimson, befriended Sigma Octanis and then Joovee Nile.

They all figured out his origin to some extent.

Those at the void realms should not be underestimated.

Jodye looked down at his left hand's middle finger. The word RAH was written clearly. With [Pharaoh's Law] still equipped, he activated his heavenly vision and fused his divine consciousness with his astral essence. The pupils of Jodye's sapphire dragon eyes suddenly transformed into a glowing, white-golden, yin-yang symbol. Entering this state for the first time, Jodye felt invincible. Everything in his perception had instantly slowed to a crawl. He noticed that everything was moving slower depending on its level of strength. For instance, Uncle Sigma's movements were a lot faster than Dessa. Every now and then, the Temple Sheppard would move at near regular speed. However, for anyone under the void realms, their movements were akin to a snail's pace for Jodye.

This was not the most shocking point.

"How could this be?" Jodye was able to see the true form of things is his perception. This was highly unusual! T'Zhane had no memory of being able to do this before the third stage of the Heavenly Vision Scripture, the Nightmare Eyes stage.

"A word, host," Trippy's voice rang out in Jodye's mind. "It seems the augmentation of Pharaoh's Law has temporarily advanced your Heavenly Vision Scripture. This is likely an added benefit of upgrading [Pharaoh's Law] by unlocking the forth seal."

Jodye's eyes flashed with light. So this was also possible?

"Nightmare Eyes…no wonder I suddenly felt that I would be able to do this." The third stage of the Heavenly Vision Scripture formed a source pa.s.sage bridging together the Divine Source in each eye. Completing this process evolved the host soul into a divine soul. This came with wondrous abilities and was a qualitative change to one's very life form. Thanks to [Pharaoh's Law] he was able to temporarily form the bridge, allowing him to activate a nascent Nightmare Eyes.

Unfortunately, Jodye Trill couldn't maintain this state for very long. He sent his divine astral essence into the letters on his finger and an invisible ripple spread out and covered his body. Jodye started hearing hypnotic voices whispering the word Rah repeatedly as his lifeblood churned. Jodye felt something awakening inside him, but he didn't understand it. The ring-like characters on his finger disappeared and a sun mark appeared on his heart as his consciousness was pulled inside.

Inside the Ethereal Ring of Rah was an enormous s.p.a.ce that looked like a wondrous cosmos. Incomprehensibly dense true astral origin qi permeated this s.p.a.ce giving it a different sort of pressure. Within this outrageously vast s.p.a.ce were three giant islands. The smallest of which was at least the size of California. Presumably, all of these islands had different treasures. Endless greed filled Jodye's eyes that were as wide as saucers. However, Jodye's perception was actually not powerful enough to approach even the smallest of these three islands.

"Little Joe…it's really you…when I sensed someone intruding I thought…I can't believe you made it here already," a melodic voice that made Jodye's soul tremble so hard that he was ejected from this Ethereal Ring of Rah.

Jodye was completely thrown off and didn't know how to react to this at all.

"Mom?"
