Thousands of kilometers away from Winter Winds City, in the main hall of the most grand and luxurious palace within the walls of the capital of the South Ward, Sage Thoth City, an incredibly handsome and majestic middle-aged man stood among a crowd of seated elders. He was robust with an awesome physique that seemed to be bursting with strength. He wore stylish clothes that exposed his muscular body, and feet were bare. If Jodye were here the way these figures were dressed would remind him of ancient Egyptian royalty. The elders surrounding the middle-aged man all had looks of deep reverence in their eyes as they stared at this figure. The wise-looking elder standing in front of on the giant iron throne at the top of the hall showed none of the imposing demeanor that a monarch should possess. Instead, he looked just as reverent as his own subjects.

Even though he looked around a decade younger than the last time they met, if Jodye Trill were present he would immediately recognize this man who demanded the respect of any who saw him as Grandpa Geb!

"Great Fort Master Goldwolf, this young one is unworthy of your favor," the wise elder in front of the throne had his own majestic presence as he spoke. After all, this tall and scholarly man was none other than Pharaoh King Thoth Nile, the man widely accepted as the wisest man in the entire Pangaea continent. However, at this moment the wise ruler was a bit fl.u.s.tered. A world-famous wizard far stronger than himself had randomly appeared in the center of the hall, how could he not be nervous? "Please tell this little one what he can do to serve you?"

Some would find it utterly shocking to see the man they wors.h.i.+pped as Pharaoh acting so subservient, but all of these elders knew very well the fury that was Fort Master Goldwolf. They had all seen images from when their majesty, the lord pharaoh, fought in the legendary 100-Years-War. The 100-Years-War was a brutal festival of blood that only ended once all foreign powers had been defeated by humanity and banished from the land. This was a war were mages and heavenly masters were slaughtered by the tens of thousands and powerhouses were dropping like flies. However, the surviving heroes of that time were now all legendary existences with abilities that already far surpa.s.s mortal powers.

The mighty Fort Master Goldwolf in front of them was one such existence, and that was more than 1,000 years ago during the 100-Years-War. Who knew how strong this old monster had become by now? So even though this legendary figure had abruptly appeared in this hall out of nowhere, these warriors didn't even dare to so much as breathe too aggressively, lest they anger the monster. After all, how strong did one have to be to avoid the senses of 22 high-rank n.o.bles?

"Little brother Nile, I know that you are currently in the middle of your own holy war," Geb Goldwolf's majestic and long hair seemed to be made of wool as he casually stepped forwards towards the throne. However, he tactfully stopped before the steps leading up, "However, I have received intel that one of my kin is currently operating in the south. I do not have the jurisdiction to retrieve him, so I will be sending an aide in my place. Please inform your troops not to obstruct him in any way, or they will be met with slaughter."

"Great Fort Master, if you simply need to retrieve a boy, then this king is willing too…" Pharaoh Thoth leaned forward with the genuine hope that they could be of service to his senior brother Goldwolf. However, he was quickly shot down.

"No, since I cannot take him myself…" Geb Goldwolf sighed and looked a bit melancholic, however, he instantly recovered, "Since I cannot go to retrieve the boy myself, I might as well let him gain experience. He will only be brought back to me if he starts to expose himself too early."

"Interesting," Pharaoh Thoth rubbed his beard stubble in thought. "Since this is the case, Fort Master will have my Divine Ibis Country's full support."

Meanwhile, White Demon Castle floated high in the skies of the West Ward of Pangaea. Deep within the walls of the castle, heavy panting and reluctant moans could be heard from the bedroom of a private grand chamber.

"No, that not it!" Basalt Congo's sinister voice sounded out from behind the curtain of the bed of enduring lady Isis. "Move the hips!"

"I'm trying!" moaned the sultry voice of lady Isis with tears streaming down her face. She had agreed to wed this man as long as they didn't use charm laws on her or pa.s.s her around like a s.l.u.t. This l.u.s.ty madman was obsessed with her, so he didn't hesitate to grant her request. Now, no matter what, she had already married this man.

As compensation for her being willing, no one was allowed to touch Kamila Trilleck, and they would even allow her to join a sect to learn cultivation. Isis was more than willing to trade herself for the girl's safe pa.s.sage from this h.e.l.lzone. "It's just…you are being too aggressive towards me! I am not some wh.o.r.e for you to do as you please with. The anger and shouting, I do not like it..."

"Less of that, you kinky little s.l.u.t. I know you love it when you are in the mood, I have seen this," Basalt licked his black lips lasciviously before his face rose into a devilish grin. Isis scowled, but Basalt ignored her completely, "Our agreement demands you will love me, woman, not merely surrender your body! That vermin little brother of mine is already dead and gone from this world. He has been torn asunder, ground into meat powder, which was fed to my fiend farm. We used the excrement of said fiends to produce new chemicals for our wine made from the new model charm potion. Cleansed for my pleasure, hahaha."

If her previous husband was truly dead, maybe Isis wouldn't feel so dirty and empty. Maybe she would have already ended her own life. However, Isis knew better than anyone where Osiris Goldwolf should currently reside. They had planned this long before becoming husband and wife, and now was the most critical part of the plan. Isis was unwilling to fail after coming this far. She had to give herself to this evil man who she had some minor connection with, but so what? If it ended with his miserable demise then Isis was all too willing.

Basalt rubbed the white snake glyph on his bald head, "Do not attach yourself to a dead sc.u.m's memory. Do not forget that your brat has been spotted in the south. Do you think I am ignorant of that wastrel's continued existence? That your spies are truly able to elude me? If you do not obey me well in the future, I will slaughter the Frozen Night and then I will immediately leave. Just. To. Kill. Him. My. Self."

Lady Isis' body shuddered and she closed her eyes. For the first time, she felt truly helpless, truly unreconciled. Her son was her only true weakness at this point. Nothing could happen to her son or Isis didn't know how she might react. She would probably sacrifice her soul to bury this entire castle in heavenly eradication light. Doing so would completely obliterate her, body and soul together. Even if her previous marriage was ended by death, even if she was coerced into marrying the villain who was currently in her bed, how could she be willing to be with the man who had stolen her purity back when she was an innocent girl? Who had destroyed her innocence with his own hands? However, with her son in danger how could she continue to negotiate?

Forsaking him?

This was impossible, Joseph was her heartbeat.

Was Isis truly going to have no choice but to bear another child from this s.a.d.i.s.tic b.a.s.t.a.r.d? Could they manage to make a move before that?

Isis desperately tried to think of a last-minute solution, anything she might have missed. Although her spies were not able to pinpoint her son's exact location, the description of the boy from Little Oasis who called himself Jupiter sounded just like her son. Basalt likely didn't know much more than her. However, could she be sure that Basalt's spy network didn't already have more detailed intelligence?

Isis was unwilling to gamble with her child's fate, unlike that d.a.m.n Osiris.

"Tsk. Osiris, for the sake of revenge you were willing to sacrifice me completely without looking back…" thought Isis with a terrible melancholy in her heart. Even though she knew that this had been a relations.h.i.+p of mutual benefit, the love in her heart for that man was becoming bitter hatred. Part of Isis believed that Osiris would have found a way to change his plans if he truly loved her.

For Jodye's sake, Isis could only endure. Her closed eyes fluttered repeatedly. However, in the end, she opened her eyes that now possessed a glamorous glow, as she looked back at the robust baldy who wanted to take her everything. Basalt was slightly shaken, but he quickly calmed down. The charm laws in Isis' eyes seemed to only affect the woman herself. He frowned, slightly unsatisfied. Was he so ugly that this woman had to charm herself to be his? But then that evil smile crept back onto his face.

So what if she was unwilling?

Was she not surrendering herself anyway?

To Basalt, there was no better outcome than this. To h.e.l.l with her brat, the boy would be of no threat once Isis helped him to conceive a proper heir. Of this, Basalt was one thousand percent confident. At that point, he would be able to use the White Demon combat soul to devour his heir's dragon soul. His White Demon combat soul would gain another head and its abilities would double in strength. He had been a.s.sured so by that dying old fool in the south. That elderly man's time was limited, but his powers were simply unfathomable. Basalt felt the prophecy from that man could be trusted.

Isis was the key to fulfilling his destiny!

"Good, good, good. I love obedient women the most. Well then. Let us begin!"

"Yes, my husband."

As the heated sounds of false love continued to haunt the night air, a shadow that no one had noticed before and no one would notice at all slowly retreated from the chamber. This shadow swiftly slunk it's way through the castle evading the various guards, elders, and core disciples roaming the premises. After arriving in front of an excessively large and demonic-looking gate the shadow didn't stop for a second and disappeared into the gate as if it were a puddle of water, arriving on the other side.

On the other side of this gate was surprisingly a dark forest, densely packed with poisonous foliage and bog waters.

"My liege," rising from the shadow kneeled Ke Si as he called out to the empty s.p.a.ce in front of the shadow. "It is not too late to take another approach. If only we could…

"It is done," a black light flashed and Osiris Trilleck was revealed as the source of the shadow. His ability to conceal his own presence was second to no one alive. The lord's face was twisted and ugly to the max as he spoke and balled his fist. A menacing atmosphere leaked from his body unconsciously as he tried to control his collapsing mental state. Ke Si didn't dare to speak again after sensing the state of his longtime companion. The pain and fury in Osiris' heart right now were clearly enough to drive him mad. However, after a few breaths of silent enduring, the lord's face suddenly became calm. "So it appears our intel was correct, and that Joseph is indeed in the South Ward. Our cousins in Winter Winds City did well to send the shadow source crystal to transmit an S.O.S. Father should have already made arrangements towards that end. Have you heard any news about Horus at all?"

"No, my liege." Ke Si bowed, concern showing in his eyes, "Young Master Horus is likely alive, as Jip Si's life crystal has not shattered. However, he is still missing."

"Sigh…" Osiris closed his eyes in frustration once more. His plan was working so well, so flawlessly, yet why was it that his soul felt so empty? So unsettled? When Osiris thought back to watching that diseased maniac touch Isis so intimately, his aura would instantly destabilize. After calming himself down again for the umpteenth time, Osiris looked back at Ke Si and said, "I'm not sure if you know this, but Horus is a very important element in this plan. We have to find my son, as long as he is still alive. "

"Yes, my liege."

"Fine. Dispatch the troops based on the intel we just gathered. I must meet with some old 'friends'."
