"Don't you dare! We'll take our cla.s.smate back to j.a.pan and our legal system will take care of her!" Alex sighed once more as he didn't want to deal with Kouki's idiocy, so he decided to stop being nice.

Alex didn't even flinch at the sudden attack and simply opened a portal with Spatial magic and sent her outside above the city. Alex was about to follow her through, but stopped before doing so and turned towards s.h.i.+zuku before saying,

"By the way, you were amazing before, you've really come along way s.h.i.+zuku." He then pulled her close in what seemed to be an intimate gesture before planting a quick kiss upon her brow. Before s.h.i.+zuku was able to process what happened Alex was already vanis.h.i.+ng onto the portal to fight Noint. Though everyone else was either rus.h.i.+ng outside or trying to figure out what was going on between s.h.i.+zuku and Alex, a single figure stood statuesque still in the throne room as he tried to sort through the accusations thrown at him.
