Chapter 32 - Harvest
"Arrogant!" Bai Liyi felt a little upset since he had been challenged in front of the person he liked so he laughed coldly and said, "Let's do it then."
"Alright." Sen Molian ignored Bai Liyi's anger and soon she released her profound power. When her profound power was released, everyone was surprised. She actually had dark elemental profound power. Dark elemental profound power was very rare, and it had been hundreds of years since someone had it.
If there was only one kind of profound power that was the best at realm-surpa.s.sing fights, without a doubt it was dark elemental profound power. Dark elemental profound power had two main attributes: corrosion and absorption. Except for the light elemental, the dark elemental could corrode and swallowed up all the other elementals.
Those who were about to leave stopped one after another, and they focused on Shen Molian and Bai Liyi who was standing in front of her.
"Let's go." After releasing her profound power, all the others stepped far enough back so that Shen Molian's dark elemental profound power would affect them.
Seeing Shen Molian's profound power, Bai Liyi's face turned ashen. He had wind elemental profound power, therefore his specialty was speed. However, facing this dark elemental profound power he might not be able to win even if his cultivation was higher than hers.
However, there were so many juniors watching, so it was hard for him to stop halfway through. Therefore, he released his wind elemental profound power.
The result was pathetic.
If one wanted to know what being crushed meant, this would be it.
Under the corroding and swallowing of Shen Molian's dark elemental profound power, Bai Liyi's wind elemental profound power was of no use. In a mere ten breathes of time, the battle had already ended.
Seeing the fight was over the students began to leave and Bai Liyi was left standing there with a pale face.
Finally, Shen Molian and Lin Haoxue got what they wanted. They now owned their own courtyards in the superior cla.s.s.
The fact that Lin Haoxue and Shen Molian successfully challenged people who were at the Profound Ancestor realm surprised all the students who had watched their fights.
The marvelous battles caused all the students to think. Now they understood that being powerful wasn't only about who had the most profound power, it also required a strong heart for cultivation. A truly powerful cultivator required a heart which wasn't afraid of anything and didn't back down from a challenge.
Both Lin Haoxue and Shen Molian had such a heart for cultivation.
Wu s.h.i.+yue who had pa.s.sed out was taken away by his servants.
Bai Liyi who was defeated left the superior cla.s.s. After all, he was a well-known figure at their superior cla.s.s so this failure was a huge blow to him. However, if he could learn a lesson from his failure, and learn to be humble, he might be able to gain a lot from it for his future.
Lin Haoxue and Shen Molian had already packed up their things and now moved into their new residence settling into the superior cla.s.s.
Their new dwellings were a lot bigger. Excluding the master bedroom, there were four more bedrooms in the courtyard. All the supplements provided to them were also high-quality. Not only were their courtyards more comfortable, but they also faintly promoted their profound power. Even if they didn't cultivate, they could feel their profound power revolving automatically.
The most important thing was that the spirit power's density was many times higher than before. The revolution of their profound power was sixteen times faster here, and this grew their profound power a thousand times a day faster than before.
However, Lin Haoxue didn't rush to cultivate her profound power since she had experienced many things making her mentally and physically exhausted. Now that she had moved to a more satisfying place, she decided to rest for an entire two days to adjust her state of mind.
Putting her room in order, she took a deep breath and calmed down. Lin Haoxue had started to look around after she moved in.
She put away her high-grade storage ring as she knew that there were only one thousand inferior essence stones within it and nothing else.
Then she took out the storage jade pendant which she had taken from that fat young master in fancy clothes. Since he had removed his willforce mark earlier, Lin Haoxue easily bonded this spirit tool with her willforce.
This storage spirit tool didn't have as much s.p.a.ce as she thought, but it did contain some inferior essence stones. Lin Haoxue thought that there would be more because of the owner's status extraordinary. He was the second young master of the City Lord of Demon Execution Town; he was supposed to be rich! However, she found out that he only had sixty to seventy essence stones which disappointed Lin Haoxue.
"It turned out that boasting young master was actually broke." Lin Haoxue murmured to herself.
Lin Haoxue came to this world, but she had no real idea of the value of essence stones. The experience she had in the Demon Beast Forest let her gain thousands of essence stones at once, so naturally, she a.s.sumed that these essence stones were the normal currency. What she didn't know was that having several inferior essence stones was already a great amount of wealth for anyone under eighteen years old. The amount of wealth she had would be enough to make all the other students jealous, even including the strong students at the Profound Ancestor realm.
Lin Haoxue continued to search through the storage jade pendant, but there wasn't a lot of things inside. However, hidden in a corner, she discovered several books. It seemed like the owner of this spirit tool cared a lot for these books. Lin Haoxue took a quick look at them and immediately threw the books outside. Fire blazed out from her palm and instantly burned those books into ash. Those books were painted with erotic pictures which was why that fat young master cared so much for them.
Now there was only this small bracelet left. It was black and had delicate patterns engraved on it. It looked so pretty that any girl would cherish it; however, Lin Haoxue could tell from its spirit power fluctuations that it was also a spirit tool, but she didn't know how to use it. She put away this bracelet and planned to give it to her sister, Ruoxue since she was trying to break through into the next realm.
In the end, Lin Haoxue sat down in the middle of her room to perform introspection so that she could check out her biggest gain, the Yin Yang Double Gateway. The Yin Yang Double Gateway wasn't stored in Lin Haoxue's spirit tools, instead, it was inside her dantian.
Back then when she took the Yin Yang Double Gateway, since she was in a critical situation so she didn't notice that it had entered her body through her palm and slowly proceed to her dantian something she hadn't realized until just now.
When Yin Yang Double Gateway entered her dantian, it didn't occupy the white whirlpool in the middle of her dantian, instead, it just floated right underneath the whirlpool. It almost seemed as if it were respecting the whirlpool. Yet, compared to the seemingly harmonious relations.h.i.+p it had with the whirlpool, the two black and red pearls seemed faintly opposed to the black demon pearl, as if they viewed each other as enemies.
It was common knowledge that every treasure had a spirit, but what was this thing that could make the Yin Yang Double Gateway so respectful to it? And what made Yin Yang Double Gateway so opposed to this black pearl? Lin Haoxue had no idea what the answers were. However, it was very obvious that the white whirlpool was more precious than the Yin Yang Double Gateway, and as for that black demon pearl, could it be a potential threat?
Since she had no idea about these things, she would ignore them for now. She believed that when she increased her cultivation, there would come a day when she found out the answers.
Circulating her profound power, Lin Haoxue noticed that the speed at which she drew in profound power seemed to have been increased by thirty percent. This kind of increase was probably due to the Yin Yang Double Gateway. After a bit, Lin Haoxue enter an almost unconscious state of cultivation. This was the famed empty spirit state of mind that everyone wanted to achieve.
After seven days, Lin Haoxue walked out from her room. And, at this moment, she had already broken through to the Late-stage Profound Grand Master realm.
Knowing the benefit of the dense spirit power in the area, she decided to bring her sister to her courtyard to cultivate.
However, after a bit of time, she found out that her sister wasn't at the academy. She broke through to the Profound Grand Master realm and went out with few of her good friends to consolidate her foundation.
Hearing this, Lin Haoxue started to think of some things. Afterwards, she went back to cultivating in her room and she didn't go out unless she needed food.
At the area of the superior cla.s.s, the revolution rate of her profound power became faster and faster and this was the benefit of her strong profound veins. She had great talent and her cultivation speed was very fast, but because of this, it was possible she could cultivate too fast which would harm her.
When one cultivated, if they didn't have a stable foundation it would affect their cultivation speed later on.
During the process of consolidating her profound power, Lin Haoxue had another amazing discovery. She found that the first page of the Merging Spirit Burst book inside her dantian was constantly trembling. If this situation kept up, Lin Haoxue guessed that she could probably cultivate Merging Spirit Burst after she broke through to the Profound Ancestor realm.
TIme flew rapidly and more than twenty days pa.s.sed. This day, just when Lin Haoxue walked out of her room and was about to look for food, there were several people standing at the entrance of her courtyard. They were all young boys and girls and seemed like they had been waiting for her.
