Little Cutie, Come Here (12)

The last cla.s.s of the afternoon was Tang Xuehui's cla.s.s. When there were still fifteen minutes until the next cla.s.s, he closed his books and pulled out the cla.s.s's ranking list. He picked up his teacup, taking a sip, then finally said, feigning calmness, "For this month's exam, everyone did very well. Our cla.s.s's average results in every subject were much higher than Cla.s.s 2's. Out of the top ten, eight students come from our cla.s.s. I hope in the upcoming days everyone will keep up the hard work!"

The students who had been nervous all let out a cheer. Wei Xiaoqin looked at Jiang Hui in excitement. Her pale face turned slightly pink, her hands twirling a few strands of her hair. Her eyes were filled with unconcealed joy and wors.h.i.+p. She bit her lip slightly, bashfully saying, "Congratulations! You're definitely the top of our year. I still haven't thanked you, because you taught me so carefully, I felt that the test was much easier than usual. My grades definitely went up a lot."

The corner of Jiang Hui's lips hooked up. He didn't object to her compliment. There was no need to doubt whether he would be in first place or not. Since he was young, no matter what he was doing, when wasn't he first? There wasn't much to congratulate him about. His target was always becoming the first place at the college examinations. Could this little thing of being the first in the year compare?

Though he thought like that, he kept a warm and gentle smile on his face. Jiang Hui pulled Wei Xiaoqin's hand, smiling. "With our relations.h.i.+p, why are you being so polite with me? Isn't teaching my girlfriend perfectly in line with the principles of heaven and earth?"

Jiang Hui's eyes were warm. Wei Xiaoqin's heart sped up. She hurriedly lowered her head, her entire face glowing red like a cooked shrimp.

After hesitating for a bit, Wei Xiaoqin slightly turned her head, pus.h.i.+ng her hair behind her ears. She smiled prettily. "Thank you, Jiang Hui—"

Before she even finished speaking, the smiles on their faces froze. They looked in disbelief at Tang Xuehui talking steadily at the podium.

"…The reason we were able to get such a good result this time is completely thanks to the outstanding students Xie Fei and Jiang Hui. Especially Cla.s.smate Xie Fei. He even scored nearly 60 points higher than Jiang Hui in second place and got the treasured position of first in the year. He became the new top star!" Tang Xuehui looked like he was very calm, but in his heart he was extremely excited. As he finished, he couldn't suppress his smile. He looked completely in good spirits. “We'll discuss the final results in detail at the cla.s.s meeting. Everyone, stand up and make two lines outside. We'll start to choose seats again.”

But everyone's attention had long flown to Xie Fei and completely failed to notice Tang Xuehui's directions. The cla.s.sroom was silent. Everyone was doubting whether they had gone deaf. Zhou Zhiwei was the first to return to his senses. He turned to look at Xie Fei in shock. “Holy s.h.i.+t, Xie Fei, you're about to ascend to f.u.c.king heaven! Laozi‘s at your beck and call!

As soon as he spoke, the cla.s.sroom rose up in clamor. The students slowly came back to themselves, talking in shock. “Who… who can tell me, what… what just happened?”

“My G.o.d, it can't be that Tyrant Xie got a cheat, right? In a month, he went from twenty-seventh in the cla.s.s directly up to number one, and he scored even better than Model Student Jiang by 60 points?”

“I don't even know what to say now. Last time I could still tell myself Tyrant Xie got lucky. This time? It was just skill!”

“It seems like Jiang Hui and Tyrant Xie Fei absolutely can't be compared. Since school started, I've never seen Tyrant Xie studying. If he's not sleeping the entire day, he's playing games. He doesn't do homework. He doesn't do practice problems. On the test, he's still f.u.c.king first.”

“If you compare with others it'll just anger you to death. Tyrant Xie is already at the status where I, a mere mortal, can only watch from afar. For this exam, I specially took a picture of him to pray to…”

“What a coincidence, I took a picture too. I put it up above my bed to wors.h.i.+p day and night…”

As they spoke, the two of them pulled out the pictures and looked at them. They immediately began to debate. “The one I took looks better, my score will definitely be higher than yours!”

“No way, I have more sincerity, my score will definitely be higher!”

Their voices got louder and louder, drawing the attention of their surrounding cla.s.smates. The people who were closer with Jiang Hui mocked, "There's actually people this year who are so blind. Exams are based on skill, not Xie Fei's looks."

"Ha, to laozi, you guys don't know anything! My big bro's picture is a waterproof, mold-killing, ghost-repelling lucky charm. If you have this protection picture, it'll bring you a hundred years of happiness!" Liu Yan was as animated as a monkey. Wherever there was a person talking bad about Xie Fei, there was a book tossed over. Next to him, the fatty Zhou Zhiwei followed along, stupefying everyone until no one dared to retort.

The entire cla.s.s was in a hubbub so loud that the entire building could hear them, but the Tang Xuehui who greatly valued discipline didn't get angry. He understood the cla.s.s's feelings very well. Even he had been agitated for a long time before he calmed down.

In the midst of the excitement, the silence at Jiang Hui's desk was all the more obvious. Wei Xiaoqin's face was full of shock. She sat blankly in her seat. Looking at all her elated cla.s.smates, she shook her head, mumbling, "It can't be, there's no way. They have to have gotten the wrong test, there's no where Xie Fei did better than Jiang Hui…"

Next to her, Jiang Hui lowered his head, his face turning dark and his back stiff. His fists slowly tightened, the veins on his forehead twitching. His eyes had been filled with excitement, but his joy had long disappeared. Instead, they were clouded with anger.

He didn't think that they had gotten the wrong test like Wei Xiaoqin, because he knew clearly that he couldn't get such a high score. It was just that he had a hard time believing it himself. Although he knew Xie Fei had some smarts, he had never thought that in a short month Xie Fei would completely steamroller him. He didn't even listen to the teacher or do homework… It made it too hard for Jiang Hui to accept.

There was actually a day that he, Jiang Hui, was defeated. How could it be?Please read at yanyantls dot wordpress dot com. If you are reading this elsewhere, it has been stolen from me.

There were still five minutes before the end of cla.s.s. After Tang Xuehui shouted, "Quiet", they started to exchange seats. Xie Fei became the topic of conversation, but he continued to play games quietly. When Tang Xuehui called his name, tens of eyes immediately flew to him.

Calm and collected, Xie Fei walked to his original seat and sat down. Following right behind him, Jiang Hui also picked his original seat. Nearly everyone after them copied their example. In the end, other than a few people who changed seats, almost everyone stayed in their original seats. After they finished picking seats, the bell rang. Tang Xuehui gave the tests to the first row of students to pa.s.s around and left the cla.s.sroom. Just as everyone rushed for the door, getting ready to fight over lunch, the two people who had been arguing over their grades cried out one after the other. "Oh my G.o.d oh my G.o.d the answers I picked randomly were all right, Fei-ge, I love you to death!"

"Ah, me too, me too! It's my first time getting so much multiple choice right, my overall score went up at least thirty or forty points!"

"Haha, I told you a good-looking picture is important, didn't I? Look, I scored higher than you." The person proudly raised their test.

Their voices caused the flock of students about to leave the room to stop in their footsteps, their heads turning towards the pair. They crowded around them, talking all at once. "Are you serious? Let me see."

"Wow, don't be so blind… f.u.c.k, it's real! Fei-ge's picture, give laozi a bunch!"

"I want it too, give me however much you have! Money isn't a problem!"

"I only have one, you guys have to take your own picture." The person clutched their chest with a death-grip.

"You took a good picture, your grades are good…"

Zhou Zhiwei looked on from the side with relish. "From now on, our school tyrants gang is renamed the G.o.dly smart tyrants gang. All the G.o.ds in heaven don't f.u.c.king add up to one of our Fei-ge's pictures. G.o.ds are f.u.c.king hallucinations!"

Sucking in a breath, Zhou Zhiwei nudged Liu Yan in the arm with his elbow. He scooted closer, whispering mysteriously, "You tell me, would Fei-ge's nudes go through the roof?"

Liu Yan nodded in approval. "Of course."

And the two of them put their heads together, giggling gleefully.

Xie Fei didn't feel like correcting the group's realization. In a manner of speaking, their conclusion wasn't wrong—since he, Xie Fei, had been born, he had a lucky aura. He had also cultivated for thousands of years. He had even become Dizang and had a place amongst immortals, so if they wors.h.i.+pped him they actually could get some luck.

It was just that luck and whether his pictures looked good or not didn't have anything to do with each other. He was just too lazy to care about it.

Zhou Zhiwei and Liu Yan had gotten ahold of Xie Fei's test. When the two of them had finished wors.h.i.+pping it reverently, they used two hands to carefully put it on Xie Fei's desk. His eyes sparkling, Zhou Zhiwei said fawningly, "Wei-ge, lend me your great blessing. This time the number of points laozi earned on multiple choice set a new record. You got any wise words to pa.s.s down for these short answer questions?"

Xie Fei looked up at the two of them. He said calmly, "I've got one."

Their eyes gleamed. Even Su Yin, flipping through her own test at the side, looked over, looking at Xie Fei in antic.i.p.ation.

Xie Fei paused, pulling several workbooks from his drawer and tossing them at Zhou Zhiwei. "Do more practice."

Zhou Zhiwei had nothing he could say in response. This was really a tried and trued method. After a long time, he curled his lip, grumbling, "Fei-ge, you're not loyal to your brothers anymore. I've never seen you do practice questions in this long of a time. Come on, these workbooks are all blank! Don't think about tricking me into doing your homework!"

Xie Fei looked at Zhou Zhiwei, his face saying, "Are you an idiot?" With some ridicule, he said, "You want to use your brain to compare with mine?"

Zhou Zhiwei flared up. "You can insult my person, but you can't insult my brain!"

The honest Liu Yan said doubtfully, "Is there a difference?"

Zhou Zhiwei clapped Liu Yan on the head, smiling dotingly. "My person is you."

"Oh." Liu Yan nodded his head in realization before he absorbed his meaning. He huffed, Wei-ge, you're scolding me."

Zhou Zhiwei looked at him seriously, his expression earnest. "Am I? You heard wrong."

The author has something to say:
Liu Yan: Wei-ge, you're scolding me [○?`Д?? ○]
