Pink Prince
Ka’cha!
A desert scorpion roughly the size of a fist was dug out from within the sand by Crane Fairy, pecked to death, and thrown into the fire, causing the fire to crackle and give off a foul odor.
Crane Fairy was having extreme fun, unendingly digging around the desert sand and pulling out one desert scorpion after another before pecking them to death and throwing them into the fire.
These scorpions were very large and evil-looking. They would come out at night to absorb dew and capture prey. They were very vicious, and could kill people with a single bite.
However, these Yu’hua School disciples wore magic clothes, and were able to ignore the various insects, scorpions, centipedes, and ants.
Fang Han just sat, not moving, pondering the profound ‘Primary Spiritual Technique’.
Ever since he began cultivating the ‘Primary Spiritual Technique’ the day before, he felt as if he had begun truly cultivating. He felt as if he had gained the key to open the door to the Divine Realm.
Currently, as long has he had time, he would constantly ponder in his mind, contemplating the mysterious, yet familiar structure of the various parts of his body.
Upon training to the Spiritual Expert level, one could observe their spirit, inner organs, and bones as if they were observing their palm. Currently, although Fang Han hadn’t reached this level, he felt as if through his cultivating, his understanding of his body was becoming increasingly clear, almost as clear as a crystal. His body was slowly becoming more open before his eyes.
The only thing that he couldn’t see clearly, was his mind, which was still veiled by a hazy darkness. His mind was a sealed Divine gate, and was unable to be opened by Fang Han, as if it was refusing to let Fang Han open it and access Divine magic.
Liu Kang and Hong Yi were sitting cross-legged, both cultivating something, inside, nouris.h.i.+ng their spirits, outside, training their qi.
Although water was lacking in the desert, they all had ‘Clean Clothes Seals’ and ‘True Water Talismans’, allowing them to constantly replenish their body’s water supply and wash filth off and clean their body. Even in such a harsh environment, they were able to stay complacent.
Without the help of these fa’qi, even Divine Realm experts would wither away if they stayed in the desert for too long.
All of the Yu’hua School disciples were very calm, each minding themselves. There wasn’t any conversation, the atmosphere very tranquil, like the silence before a storm.
The night wind blew, ‘wu wu’, smothering the fire.
“Ao, ao ao, ao ao.”
Amid the distant sand dunes came a piercing, shrill cry of a jackal, as if it were howling at the moon.
“What was that?”
Hearing the sound, Fang Han’s soul mysteriously felt a flash of terror, causing him to open his eyes and see Number Ten of the Shan’he Ranking, Yuan Jian Kong, as well as senior sister disciple Mo and a few of the inner court disciples, stand up.
The three princes and two princesses of the Da’de Empire stood up.
Liu Kang and Hong Yi stood up.
Numerous cranes, including Crane Fairy, rushed up into the air. Through the ‘Spirit Tamer Tablet’, Crane Fairy said, “Fang Han, we have been surrounded by enemies. It is very terrifying, so I flew up into the air.”
Since the cranes were, after all, cranes, after being shocked, they would immediately fly into the sky, and not maintain composure like humans. They would also not accompany these disciples through such a dangerous situation.
“There are enemies?”
Fang Han stood up and looked into the distance. Shadows flickered, and the rhythmic sound of hooves. .h.i.tting the ground could be heard. Atop the distant dunes, silhouettes pa.s.sed over like surging water, letting off immense murderous qi.
Concentrating his spirit in his eyes, Fang Han realized that the silhouettes which pa.s.sed over the dunes like surging water were desert bandits. They wore scaly armor and were riding camels, each one holding a huge curved blade and equipped with a bow and arrows. Hundreds upon thousands of them came over, encircling the group.
The camels were covered in white fur, and galloped as if they were flying. They were the ‘White Dragon Camels’ of the desert. Compared to ‘Thousand Li Horses’, their acceleration and speed were just as fast. Riding this camel felt as if one were sailing with the wind.
“Are these the rumored desert bandits?”
[TL: Don’t eat while reading the next paragraph]
Fang Han had heard about these desert bandits. They were the most vicious and savage people in the desert, and were cannibals, eating human flesh and drinking human blood. They were infamous for robbing merchant caravans, sometimes even attacking around the border. They especially liked to use stones to grind little kids into blood paste and then use it to make blood wine.
Currently, due to the ferocious and evil qi emanating from their bodies, these desert bandits which had suddenly appeared felt like underground devils, cruel beyond comparison.
“What is that?”
Amid these desert bandits, Fang Han also saw some Devils with long curved horns and a body covered in scales, almost exactly like the Yu’hua School’s ‘G.o.dly Strength Puppet’.
It was clear that they were the diabolical Devils who lived in the underground abyss.
Fortunately, very fortunately, all the Yu’hua School disciples had dealt with a Devil already during their entrance exam. Otherwise, when suddenly encountering these Devils, fear would fill their heart.
“Sou sou sou, sou sou sou!”
The sky was completely covered with arrows which rushed over like locusts. The penetrating power of these arrows was very great, and it seemed as if they were going to tear through everyone’s body.
These desert bandits actually stopped over five hundred steps away, and first shot a dense wave of arrows, a wave of arrows which covered the sky and earths with murderous intent!
Fortunately, the cranes in flew quickly in the air. Otherwise, in the face of these arrows, it was impossible for them to not get injured.
The moon!
The desert!
Desert bandits!
Arrow rain!
All of this formed a dangerous and b.l.o.o.d.y scene, and painted the thrill of the desert wilderness.
“It’s time for you to die!”
Fang Han yelled, and unsheathed his ‘Devil Beheading Sword’, wielding it to form a sword flower which cut apart each arrow which flew towards him, protecting his face and vital organs.
Many arrows still hit his magic clothes, but just bounced off, unable to go through.
The magic clothes of the Yu’hua School were woven from five different kinds of silk collected from five kinds of spirit silkworms, and then imbued with magic. It was impossible for ordinary swords and arrows to penetrate it. Although these arrows were very powerful, they were unable to penetrate the magic clothes.
However, the arrows had such great power that even though they were unable to penetrate, they still left Fang Han’s body stinging all over. If he hadn’t reached the G.o.dly Bravery level and gained his layer of inner membrane which could absorb the collision, then he definitely wouldn’t have been able to endure the pain.
“Let us group up together!”
Facing the arrows, Hong Yi and Liu Kang immediately gathered with Fang Han, back to back to back. Sword qi flashed every now and then, blocking some arrows. Especially impressive was Hong Yi, whose sword was even able to cut off the wings of mosquitos in midair. Because of the magic clothes which also blocked a large amount of arrows, they weren’t in a terrible position.
“Heng! A bunch of ants! Zheng Zhu Er, come out!”
Suddenly, like a flash of lightning, the sky full of arrows was swept away. The desert bandits that were hundreds of feet away and rode on their ‘White Dragon Camels’ while wielding their curved blades were swept away by this lightning-like sweep, their scaly armor getting destroyed. Afterwards, their upper bodies were completely separated from their lower halves, their blood filling the sky, their inner organs flowing onto the ground.
The scene suddenly became very b.l.o.o.d.y.
“Hua’la hua’la hua’la!”
Ten desert bandits were already cut at their waists, falling under their camels.
This flying sword is so imposing! It is even more powerful than my ‘Spirit Wind Sword’! This Yuan Jian Kong’s level is truly high! I am indeed not his opponent. However, if the ‘Picture of the Yellow Dragon Spring’ can be used by me to seal his flying sword, I would still have some chances. He is an important figure of the Yu’hua School so I won’t mess with him if he doesn’t mess with me, but it is not good to be overly unguarded around people. To stay guarded and keep my eyes open isn’t a bad thing.
Fang Han thought to himself.
At this time, a long howl pierced the sky.
“Ha ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha! You are indeed the Yu’hua inner court disciple, number ten of the Shan’he Rankings, Yuan Jian Kong. The ‘Silver Snake Sword’, a ling’qi that was refined through ten fires and made using a mixture of ten thousand year old silver snake blood and copper. Just a little bit more, and it would have reached the level of a bao’qi. Relying on this ‘Silver Snake Sword’, just how many of my Hong’chen Devil Sect’s disciples have you killed? I have waited so long for you to enter the Han’hai Desert!”
Accompanied by the howl was a pink colored Devil. Taking out a long sword which emitted a pink, oily qi, it thrust the sword into the air, directly catching Yuan Jian Kong’s ‘Silver Snake Sword’.
The two flying swords collided in the sky like a pink dragon and silver dragon biting at each other. The sky was filled with sword qi.
Afterwards, the two flying swords returned to their owners. It seemed as if there was hesitation between the two.
At the same time, the hundreds upon thousands of desert bandits, like flowing sand, dispersed and formed a two headed snake array. From within, a young looking Devil wearing pink clothes walked out.
“Hong’chen Devil Sect, Pink Prince!”
Yuan Jian Kong, upon seeing this pink colored young man appear, became very cold looking. Senior sister disciple Mo and the other inner court disciples also became stern looking. Fang Han could clearly feel the pressure that was rising.
“This is a Pink Prince? In the orders, wasn’t it that if you killed one, you would be able to get a ‘Yin Yang Longevity Pellet’?” Fang Han watched this pink clothed young person like Devil, and immediately thought of the words said by the elders of the Yu’hua School.
“Correct, this is a prince.” The Pink Prince’s eyes let off an odd light. It swept its eyes over the faces of the disciples. Fang Han realized that it didn’t look at any of the males, but only at senior sister disciple Mo, Hong Yi, and the two princesses of thee Da’de Empire. It was as if he was mentally stripping them of their clothes.
“You people from the Yu’hua School want to kill this prince to receive a ‘Yin Yang Longevity Pellet’! Your Yu’hua School headmaster is wasting his Longevity Realm blood to refine ‘Yin Yang Longevity Pellets’ for you guys. This prince is even considering killing himself for such a pellet,” the Pink Prince slowly reasoned.
“Pink Prince, were you actually secretly lying in wait to exterminate us? You thought we wouldn’t sense the desert bandits? We deliberately landed here to lure you out of your hole,” senior sister disciple Mo faintly said, “I never would have thought that you would fall for it.”
“Really? I didn’t know that you few inner court disciples, along with your couple ling’qi and sword arrays wanted to kill me. If I truly didn’t know this information, then I wouldn’t have become a Pink Prince. I used your own plan against you. Ten great Devil Generals! It’s time for you to show yourself.
The Pink Prince waved his hands, and immediately, from the distant sand dune, arose ten large, tall black shadows.
These black shadows jumped into the air, over ten zhang high, and surprisingly stayed up there, two broad and large wings of flesh expanding out from their back, constantly flapping. Slowly gliding, they landed by the Pink Prince.
“Devil Generals, Flying Ye’cha!”
Senior sister disciple Mo’s face greatly changed!
