Umi to Kaze no Oukoku v2c5

I’m going to stop to translate this story after reach the 3rd arch for a while, instead I want to translate this one RAW which I will back translate Umi when the first arc of that WN is done, and yeah, no editor YET.

 

Search the Captain!
“Now, Tonight we celebrate!”

Escorting Ras.h.i.+ndo to his residence using Sanzu, but he though that he should restrain himself to celebrate after getting his own s.h.i.+p.
“But, we didn’t tell Miya anything…”

Think that he should refused the offer but suddenly he’s being ambushed.
Shou’s younger brother Marche who turned 4 this year, run to Shou when he find his big brother whom he loves so much is coming, Marche run from the courtyard while call him out.
“Shou-aniue~”

Suddenly cling to him, Shou can only smile wryly when he see Marche and reluctant to let go of him.
Though some princess have been born after Shou, but since he lives in the Royal villa so it’s rare to meet them and feel fortunate to be able to see his little brother Marche and his little sister Marilyn even if they are born from different father.
“Marche sure growing big”

Shou lifts the 4 year old Marche.

They eye and the pupil is the same with Shou but, he is different from Shou who is small, his little brother is take after Ras.h.i.+ndo which make him quite big.
“Shou-sama,It seem you already brought a s.h.i.+p,
Congratulations.”

While it is being forced to stay by Marche, Ras.h.i.+ndo first wife Hermia come and prepare the celebration.
…..Well, I get the s.h.i.+p because I sell the thing inside the royal villa anyway, so it’s not I like do something great or anything….

Shou feel guilty while eating the feast that have been prepared.
“Since it’s like a treat for what Miya have been done for you, so please eat without reserved”

Compare to Hermia who can do anything by herself, Shou loath himself for being good for nothing.
…First thing first I need to find the crew and captain for the s.h.i.+p, and I intend to find them by myself!…

Marche, the younger brother who also enjoy the feast demand for his big brother to do the same.
Shou felt a bit envious when he see Ruby and Hermia work together to take care of his little brother, nonetheless he feel that this view is quite pleasing.
“Shou-sama, you sure a gentle person isn’t?”

Albeit a prince, he still want to take care of his little brother like giving the food he likes, his mother Ruby quite surprise since it’s not like King Aslan at all even if they are only meet a few times. she feel quite complicated by it.

The marriage life with Ras.h.i.+ndo is full of love and a calm one, there is no way she felt any dissatisfaction by he current life, unlike the life inside the royal palace which s.h.i.+ne like a sun and sound can be heard everywhere.

Even it’s a celebration, this is a celebration for a 8 year kid, so everything is being kept in moderation.
“Ras.h.i.+ndo-san, Hermia-san thanks for the food and celebration”

Ras.h.i.+ndo surprised by how glutton Shou is even though he have a small body.
“No,no since you came in a short notice we can only make with all this,
after you first voyage, we should have a grand celebration”

Shou laugh when he felt his tummy become a bit plump and his body can’t anymore food.
When Shou get on to Sanzu and flew to the royal villa, Ras.h.i.+ndo who see him off receive a sarcasm from Hermia regrading her talk with a few important guest.
“When they know about the s.h.i.+p, I’m sure the discrimination will be lost now…”

Hearing the explanation about the guest talk from Hermia but he only take seriously half of what she said since today event’s make him recalled the first time he brought a s.h.i.+p for himself.

After arrived on the Royal villa, Shou report to Miya that Ras.h.i.+ndo help him to obtain his s.h.i.+p.
Miya feel a bit complicated when she heard that Ras.h.i.+ndo help Shou, it’s as if she have a merchant pride’s.
“I understand that I’m a child that can’t do anything by myself,
I already got a s.h.i.+p, now i need to search for the captain.

I wonder if I can recruit some people from the port.
Is there any sailor guild or a.s.sociation around?”

……If in the previous world, you can put an ad for job on magazine or something…

“The captain must be someone you can trust.
Since Shou can’t board the s.h.i.+p all the time.

You have to master the military arts or your study to become a good prince, and a good prince won’t spend all his day on his own s.h.i.+p.

when you doesn’t board the s.h.i.+p, you have to find a captain you trust so he can handle the s.h.i.+p when you are not around”

Miya experience one or two failure regarding this but she though that it was an necessary experience and let Shou decided his own Captain.
for the worst case, even if the captain chose to take over the s.h.i.+p and run away, I don’t think that Aslan will turn a blind eye for this and since the people fear the king there is possibility that it will not even happened
….At least if it’s a bad captain he will tried to steal the money, I wonder if Shou Will able to notice it…It seem he need to learn in himself…

Miya know that many captain that can be trusted largely affiliated with big merchant, and can only be pessimistic when she though about how Shou will find his captain.
“There is actually, well, they don’t have any guild or something like that, but many sailor that look for a job can be found on the port.

the people in the bar also look for a good s.h.i.+p.
This time, I will have to a.s.sign a guard for you.
since there is many suspicious people around there”

….d.a.m.n, is there any let-alone policy or something?….

Miya keep remind him to keep in mind about who he is, but Shou feel doubtful about that.
and which remind him that he is the son of king Aslan and he already trained so much to become the successor of king Aslan whether he want to or not.
“it’s also for my lovely daughter Lara so Shou also have to become a good prince”

Didn’t hear what Miya Said, Shou keep thinking how much money you need to employ a captain, Shou ponder what to do since he doesn’t understand the commission system of profit and trade.
“Where is Shou?”

Inside Miya’s room in the royal palace is a far place from the royal villa, Shou notice his elder brother Karin that already become independent.
“Karin-aniue, It’s been a long time.
it seem you’re doing well”

Karin who have sunburn because of his job on the wars.h.i.+p look a bit like an adult
“Since it’s been a while I’m on Lyte I’m intend to to see my little brother and went to the royal villa, but it’s turned put you are not there and Ha.s.san start to get c.o.c.ky..”

Shou smile wryly when he think that his brother Karin who have a military personality truly does not fit with Ha.s.san who is a merchant.
“Even though you through a great pain to visit, I’m sorry for that.”

Karin always like Shou better than his other brother.
Nash grandfather already make a contract with Karin’s which promise him a s.h.i.+p and a subordinate relations.h.i.+p with Karin, so even if they work together, it’s always between a boss and his man not between brother’s.
Karin who have high pride, when he work on the wars.h.i.+p with other military cadet’s they will never as good as Shou when it comes to reading the sea chart since Shou who always have a clear mind it’s easy for him.
“Have you eat dinner yet? since I haven’t, come with me”

even though Shou in the middle of eating he was draged around like when he is with Aslan, and thus they go back to the town.
