Xi Ning continues to convince Yi Yun Zhai to leave but it is like he can't hear him at all. On the contrary, he becomes increasingly urgent, "You just said you can prove it. Can I check your body?"
"No!"
Of course Zuo Zhen Yu would not allow that. He had just been pushed onto the floor so he stands up and backs up. His shaking terrified voice betrays his panic.
He cannot believe there is someone like this man on the earth, someone who would actually go so far as to want to check if he was male.
In his nervousness, his throat becomes dry and he begins to cough so violently that he cannot breathe.
"Young master, I'm begging you to come out!" Xi Ning doesn't care anymore if he'll become sick, stepping into the house. Any man or ghost who sees that sickly cousin with the tuberculosis like cough would back away. He hastily pulls Yi Yun Zhai out of the house.
Yi Yun Zhai pulls away from his Xi Ning and seizing the opportunity, he directly sticks his hand into his pants.
Xi Ning howls.
How can young master still touch him when he knows he has a strange disease? Will young master become sick now too?
Zuo Zhen Yu stiffens. He quickly grabs Yi Yun Zhai's hand and pulls it out of his pants. His pale lips become even more pale as he rolls over and continues to cough.
But as he coughs, tears drip onto the floor into the dirt.
Yi Yun Zhai blankly stares at his own hands. Just now he proved that the man in front of him is indeed a man.
"Young master, quick, wash your hands! Hurry, hurry! Don't you get sick too." Xi Ning anxiously pulls Yi Yun Zhai out the door.
Xi Ning does have manners which is why he doesn't usually say that in front of Zuo Zhen Yu but in his anxiety after what his young master just did, the words popped out of his mouth regardless of the audience.
Even if it sounds bad, it's still the truth.
Zuo Zhen Yu's body shrinks. He grabs the side of the bed with one hand and wraps the other hand around himself like he is trying not to be hurt by Yi Yun Zhai.
Against the small bed, he cries quietly, like he is heartbroken.
