Chapter 15: Comrades (2)

The group put their head up against the stream and drank the water.

I was also thirsty but I needed to hold the rabbit until all the blood drained. But how long do I have to hold this?

"Give it to me. I'll hold it."

Lee Junho who finished drinking water came.

"Thank-you."

From the group I liked Lee Junho the best.

After drinking some water and was finished was.h.i.+ng my face, all the blood from the rabbit was drained.

Now I need to skin it. But none of us has a knife. With no choice I had to leave this to Silpi.

Silpi used the wind knife to skin the rabbit. Because I studied how to skin an animal from the internet I could give proper instructions.

Cut the lower belly and cut off the feet then peel off the skin.

"Uk!"

Lee Hyesoo who was watching was noises like she was throwing up. It's understandable. I'm also going crazy from this, so how much worse would it be for a girl.

After cutting the head off and taking the skin off completely, only the body was left.

I told Silpi to cut open the stomach vertically and all the internal organs could be seen. I grabbed the liver and heart because we could eat those and with the rest I buried them in the ground.

The group watched me skinning the rabbit.

I was also shaking because it was the first time I killed.

'I need to get used to this.'

After was.h.i.+ng all the blood away in the stream, I was done.

"Wow, you also know how to do something like this?"

"No, I just learned it from the internet. Thanks to Silpi I could somehow manage."

"You have prepared really well. That's probably why you got the most karma points. Can I call you brother from now on?"

"Sure."

"Yes brother! Then you can speak comfortably with me."

"Should I?"

I could become close with Lee Junho faster because we fit each other better than the others.

"If you're done, hurry up and cook it. I'm hungry."

I asked Kang Chunsung.

"Should we rest here or should we move a bit more?"

Kang Chunsung's answer had no effort in it.

Kang Chunsung was frustrating in a different manner.

He was the strongest out all of us, and he was the only person who could make Park Gochan freeze. If he took up the leaders.h.i.+p then our team work will be a lot better, but he didn't care.

'Do you not have any common sense?'

I asked Kang Chunsung to purposefully rebuke Park Gochan's thoughtless idea of resting here.

If we think that the a group of red apes were chasing us, it wasn't good that we were gathered in one location when it's still bright out.

'It can't be helped.'

I decided to stand up myself.

"Let's for now move a bit more and decide where to stay when it's night."

"Okay so let's eat first."

"Then we need to light a fire."

"Then light it."

"Do you know how to?"

"What?"

"Do you know how to light a fire? It will be extremely difficult so you want to light it now and also do it again later?

"Then you do it."

Park Gochan's voice became bigger. If I said one more word he was going to explode.

My hear was pounding hard. You're right that I'm not used to fights. I was afraid of that kind of violence. If I fought I would win, but I'm still afraid. We can't really fight either and I'm also afraid of having our faces close.

I turned my head and told Kang Chunsung.

"I think it will be good to move for now?"

"Okay."

I asked Park Gochan.

I took the meat and leather and moved. We moved along the side of the stream. It will be good if there was a safe place like a cave.

It was then Park Gochan came closer to me.

"Hey Kim Hyunho."

"Be careful."

"If you speak like that again your head will be gone, understood?"

"You mean like Silpi?"

"......!"

It was Park Gochan's turn to be quiet. It didn't matter how much evil of a gangster he was, Silpi was better at cutting a head off.

Honestly I was also shocked. I imagined so many times of ordering Silpi to cut Park Gochan's head off that it just came.

Park Gochan looked at me with scary eyes but I went my way.

'Sigh.....'

I ended up sighing.

This is the first day. Why is it so difficult when we haven't even fought yet.

While we were walking I summoned Silpi to check the surrounding for a cave we could stay at.

After walking for a few hours Silpi discovered a cave. We arrived at the cave after crossing a creek.

"It would be good to rest here right?"

Lee Junho and Lee Hyesoo nodded their head. Park Gochan and Kang Chunsung did not say anything.

Well, I a.s.sumed they agreed and prepared to light a fire.

"We need to light a fire so go gather some twigs and leaves from the surrounding area.

I left the cave after saying that.

Lee Junho and Lee Hyesoo moved right after my words, but Park Gochan did not move at all from the cave.

Kang Chunsung also moved in a different direction than us.

Junho, Lee Hyesoo and I walked around together gathering tree branches, leaves, and twigs.

"Junho and Lee Hyesoo you need weapons right?"

"Yes....."

"We do need it. I was looking for something anyway."

"How about making a spear out of wood?"

"If you could, that'll be great."

"Thank-you."

Lee Hyesoo seeing as if she also wanted a spear she thanked me.

This was a forest that was similar to the amazon rain forest in size so finding large trees wasn't a problem. I picked some random tree and started my work.

"Silpi."

-Meow.

"Can you cut a thick tree branch about 2 meters long please. Something that grew straight as possible."

- Meow.

Silpi quickly cut two branches and came back to me.

In addition, I ordered Silpi to cut away any extra small branches and cut the branch into the right size.

After the branches became smooth as a rod, I cut the the ends sharply. That's how two wooden spears were made.

"This is pretty rough but use this for now."

I gave it out to Junho and Lee Hyesoo.

"Thank you brother."

"Thank-you."

I told Silpi to cut a few more branches to use for fire wood.

When we came back the cave, Kang Chunsung was back also.

In front of Kang Chunsung's feet there was also fire wood.

I was wondering how he got fire wood without an axe, but looking at the firewood  I could tell.

'He broke it using his fist.'

An Aura fist must be able to brake a branch that big.

"Brother do you know how to light a fire?"

"Yeah."

Just in case I practiced lighting a fire at Taejo mountain at night.

"I'll help."

"Then use this wood and rub it against this."

"Okay."

Junho took the tree branch and rubbed it hard against the fire wood.

It needs to be rubbed for quite a while, but thanks to a level 2 enhanced body, Junho could persist. Incredible. I also want to learn physical enhancement quickly.

When smoke started to appear I summoned Silpi and ordered her.

"Silpi concentrate the oxygen please."

- Meow.

The wind spirit Silpi even have this kind of talent.

When we put the leaves and twigs on it, along with the concentrated oxygen it ....

Fire was lighted.

"It's done!"

Junho yelled out in happiness.

We put in the rest of the leaves, twigs, and branches and grew the fire. That's how we successfully lit a fire.
