The next morning, the sun just rose up the horizon with clouds spreading out with an ethereal glow.

Ryth woke up, stretching his arms over his head. He ignored the loud voice of Daedalus, who was chattering non-stop, telling him to wake up.

Ryth did his daily routine of changing his clothes and bandages, going for a run and so forth. After he had done with his shower, he went straight to the kitchen where Llyod and Hill had finished preparing foods for breakfast.

They ate in complete silence, the three of them lost in their own thoughts. Ryth was recalling his battle from yesterday, already thinking ways to improve.

After an hour of eating their breakfast, Ryth was about to make some weapons when someone knocked on their door.

Ryth walked over to the front door and saw an elf standing outside. It was one of the elf who guards the Chief House.

The guard bowed down and greeted, "Good morning, Mr. Myrad." he then stood up straight and continued, "Lady Elsa has requested for your presence together with the other two men to her house this morning."

Ryth raised his eyebrows. "Lady Elsa? What does she want from me?" he asked, curious.

The guard shook his head. "I'm not sure, Mr. Myrad. She only said to bring you over. She will explain later once you get there."

Ryth nodded in understanding. "Alright, just give me a moment." He then continued, "Why don't you come inside to wait?"

The guard shook his head again. "Thank you, Mr. Myrad but no. I will just wait outside here," he refused politely.

"Okay, then."

Few minutes later, Ryth and the other two followed behind the guard on their way to Lady Elsa's House. Once arrived, the guard knocked on the door and stand aside for Ryth and the others to go through.

Hearing Lady Elsa's voice to tell them to come in, Ryth and the others walked in to find Lady Elsa and Azalea sitting on a couch.

Lady Elsa stood up to greet them. "Ah, you're here. Good morning."

She then swept her hand over to the other couches. "Come, have a seat," she invited.

Ryth nodded his thanks and sat down. Llyod sat down next to Ryth while Hill sat down on an armchair, near Ryth.

Ryth looked over at Azalea and said, "Good morning, Azalea. How are you feeling today?"

Azalea blushed prettily, not knowing why she suddenly feel so shy and said softly, "Good morning, Ryth. I'm feeling better, thank you."

Lady Elsa was wearing her usual black robe, which emits a powerful aura, giving her a look of a seasoned witch. Azalea, on the other hand, was wearing a simple plain black t-s.h.i.+rt and a long black tights. She looked beautiful, despite the dark colours. In fact, it only made her looked younger.

Ryth nodded in acknowledgement and turned to Lady Elsa. "So, may I know know why you are calling me here?" he asked, confused.

"Ah, yes," Lady Elsa said. "This is about Azalea's father. I suppose I should call Chief Fenar, Woodgard and Tregnar here. They should also know about this matter. But seems like they have other duties to deal with. So, it doesn't matter. I will inform them later on."

Ryth nodded. "Alright, but may I ask a question first?" he asked.

"Of course, what is it?"

"What is your relations.h.i.+p with Azalea? The both of you seemed close to each other."

"Oh, that?" Lady Elsa said. She did not expect this question from Ryth. She didn't know he would be this curious. "I was her magic teacher back then."

"Oh I see... that explains why she is so strong. She have you to teach her magic," Ryth smiled.

"Haha, you are flattering me. I'm just an ordinary old witch," Lady Elsa giggled.

"No, no, I really mean it." Ryth said as he waved his hand, "Right. So, lets get back to the topic. So, about Azalea's father?"

"Ah, yes, it's like I had said before, I want to tell you something regarding Azalea's father."

Ryth looked serious as he asked, "What is it?"

"I had already told Azalea about this yesterday, but I need to tell you from the start..."

----------------

Few months ago

Elsa was walking around the High Elf Village. She had something to do in the High Elf Village, so she decided to take this opportunity to visit Azalea, her former magic disciple. But because she needed to hand some papers to Azalea's uncle urgently, she went straight to his house, instead.

It was already late afternoon. The sun was about to set, the wind blows through the trees, giving a windy atmosphere. The afternoon was pleasant.

She had walked for a couple of minutes when she saw Azalea's uncle walked into the deep forest. Not wanting to shout his name because it would not look ladylike, she decided to just follow him.

It was already over 6pm when she finally catch up to him, deep in the woods. But when Elsa was about to call for him, a man in a black hood suddenly appeared in front of Wildan, Azalea's uncle.

Elsa could sense a dangerous aura from the man wearing that black hood. She quickly hide behind one of the large trees, retracting and hiding her aura, trying to make herself hidden.

"You are here, sir Wildan," said the man, wearing the black hikd.

"Yes, just like what we had agreed on."

"Are you sure, though? He is your elder brother, right?"

"Heh, he's just a coward who loves peace."

"Haha! Well, we will help you gain the position of the Chief and in return, you will help us in wedging war against those filthy humans."

Elsa covered her mouth in shocked, her eyes opened wide, "Is he trying to plotted against the chief?!" she thought.

"Yes, don't worry about that. Here's hus schedule. I will leave it to you to come up with a plan." Wildan handed a bunch of papers to the black hooded man.

"Don't worry, it shall be done." The black hooded man nodded his head as he accepted the papers.

Wildan revealed a wicked smile, as he turned away and headed back to the direction of the village. The man in black opened his hood to place the paper in his inside pocket. And that's when Azalea saw a unique symbol on his chest. A red snake symbol.

"Red Phyton!" Elsa couldn't believe her eyes. The Red Phyton was a terrorist organization. Its an extremist organization who use violence to uphold their so called 'Justice'. These guys are insane to the bone.

After he put the paper to his pocket, the black hooded man disappeared instantly.

Wildan was walking near the area Elsa was hiding, he mumbled, "I'm sure I could have sense someone just now... but it seems like it's nothing.." He stretch his neck left and right then continued walking.

Elsa hold her breath. She had already changed her hiding place so she could only maintain her skill to make herself undetectable for awhile

After Wildan had disappeared from her sight, she hurriedly ran towards the village.

"I have to tell Chief Hagwin!"

However, when she arrived at the village, she was contemplating whether she should meet with Chief Hagwin or Elder Wildan for the papers.

She then decided to meet Elder Wildan to check up on him. She immediately went over to Elder Wildan's house to hand over the papers.

However, when she arrived there, it seems like Elder Wildan had gone to Elder Selanar.

"Elder Selanar?! Is he involved in the plot as well?!" she thought to herself, "Seems like I can't trust anyone at this rate. What if there are other spies near Chief Hagwin…?"

Elsa quickly masked her shocked expression and put on a serene look. "I see...oh well, I'm just here to pa.s.s these reports to him. Would you pa.s.s my greetings to him?"

"Ah okay, Lady Elsa." The guard received the papers and bowed.

Present day

"So that's what happened..." Ryth put his palm together as he touched his chin with the tips of his fingers.

"This will be a tough battle... but we do have evidence, though." Daedalus said.

"I tried to go to his house at night, but it seemed impossible to meet up with the Chief back then... too many people surround him, and they won't let me see him in private." Lady Elsa paused for a bit and continued, "I wanted to tell Chief Fenar before, but the monster flood before made me very busy... I'm sorry, Azalea."

"It's okay..."

"So, how do we fight against him?"

"We will reveal my memories and previous sight as the evidence. However, we need the [Crystal of Truth]. That item can only reveal what's in our memories and deemed them as the truth and it will project them to the audience.

So, they have no way to claim that we are showing a fake memories. But then again, we don't have the crystal at the moment. We need to look for it first, " instructed Lady Elsa.

"I see..."

Azalea turned her head towards Ryth and bowed. "And that is why I am here, as well. I need your help to get that item. Will you help us? I understand that we have asked too much this time but I beg you!" Azalea pleaded, her voice trembled and tears in her eyes.
