I’m having a bit of a hard time with the , so here’s an Extra Chapter to take a breather.

It was just one of the usual days. I was casually chatting with Kuro, who had come over to hang out, when Kuro suddenly seemed to remember something and called out to a different area.

[Right, Shalltear, you have a moment?]

[Yes, yes, what is it?]

[I have a few additions regarding the patents. Put this one up for free while having this one charged per use.]

Kuro handed some doc.u.ments to Alice, who appeared in response to Kuro’s call. Come to think of it, I recall hearing that Alice manages Kuro’s patents.

In exchange, she receives a portion of the usage fees, which is likely an important source of income for her.

Well, I dunno if I should say it’s to be expected or not, but the conversation between Kuro and Alice took on a somewhat comedic tone…… Alice was sweating nervously, trying to cover up her mistakes, while Kuro was watching her with a sharp gaze, clearly not missing any of it.

It seems my offhand guess based on intuition was actually spot-on, as Kuro’s knuckles struck down on Alice’s head, who was making this incredibly annoying tehepero face.
