Chapter 1508 - After Seeking the Possibilities of Baby Castellas

For the time being, the pursuit for the possibilities of baby castellas is over…… No, according to Kuro, there is no end to the possibilities of baby castellas, but for the time being, I guess I can consider that today’s matter is over.

After eating dinner and taking a bath, I went back to my room to stretch my body and relax.

I’m tired from all the traveling around, so I want to take a good rest…… If I had to point out a problem, I guess it would be that Kuro looked intent on staying the night? Well, if baby castellas aren’t involved, I don’t really find anything tiring from hanging out with her, so I think I can spend my time with her leisurely.

Seeing Kuro smile brightly makes me feel calmer. The weather is nice today anyway, so I feel like the stars above the skies would look beautiful.

When I went out to the balcony with Kuro, the ground below her feet undulated like waves and a familiar tatami mat appeared.

[Come to think of it, tatami mats sure appear quite often.]

It’s a bit surreal, sitting on a tatami mat on a Western-style balcony and stargazing on it, but that is exactly what I had done since the first day I came to this world, so it’s something I’m rather used to.

I think it was the same on the first day, back when I first had barbecue with Kuro, and on the night of the Sacred Tree Festival…… We were lying down on a tatami mat.

Kuro sat down and patted her thighs. It seemed like she was going to give me a lap pillow, so I took her upon her words and laid down.

Her soft touch and her warmth…… Looking up, there’s also Kuro’s gentle smile…… Unnn, it’s comforting, or rather…… It’s like, I feel like this is happiness.

Kuro’s hand moves and gently caresses my head. Hmmm, I feel very happy and comfortable here, but there’s just this one drawback…… laying down like this makes me look at Kuro more, so I can’t see much of the stars.

Hearing my words, Kuro gently smiled, brought her face closer, and kissing me lightly on my forehead, she smiled.

How should I say this…… I felt my heart skipping a beat by Kuro, who seemed more mature than usual, but it wasn’t fun to keep on being at a loss by her attacks,  so just as Kuro was raising her head back, I abruptly lifted my head and surprised her with a kiss of my own, before returning back to her lap.

[You’re the one who surprise attacked first though.]

[Fufu, I guess you’re right~~]

Looking at Kuro, who seemed to be having fun from the bottom of her heart, I couldn’t help but smile. How should I say this…… I think it’s a happy thing to be able to enjoy even the smallest things in life.

[……Well, that being said, you haven’t been looking at the stars, you know?]

[Ahaha, you’re right. I had just been looking at Kaito-kun. Let’s save all the gazes to Kaito-kun for later and look at the stars for now.]

[The starry sky looks pretty good today. I mean, the starry sky has always been beautiful when I look at it with Kuro.]

[Well, I certainly am proposing stargazing on great days, but it certainly is always beautiful.]

Maybe I can see the stars more beautifully than usual because I’m watching them together with Kuro, but as expected, I’m too embarra.s.sed to actually say it out loud……

[But perhaps, I feel that the stars look prettier than usual because I’m with my beloved Kaito-kun.]

Exchanging looks with each other, Kuro and I laughed. How should I say this…… I’m strangely happy feeling as if our hearts were in sync, making me feel like my love towards Kuro grew even stronger.

As if guided by this rising emotion, I looked up and kissed Kuro again, who was already waiting for me with her eyes closed. Although there was a beautiful starry sky above us, I had a feeling that my eyes would be fixed on Kuro for a while.
