First Marriage Then Love Chapter 7

Su Yi Cheng was waiting secretary Zheng when the old lady at home phoned him, saying it was to let him go back at night for dinner. He knew, it was not just a simple meal. It was estimated to revisit the issues, she said nothing but she forced him to go blind date. He was thinking about how to fool her, when suddenly someone sat down in front of him. He thought it was secretary Zheng came back. He looked up and thought it was a woman, intuitively, this woman felt familiar. Stunned, he remembered when he had really seen this woman and have seen her more than once!

“Ah Cheng, you heard me say ah, listen!” Su mother asked him since there was a long time did not hear his son’s respond. She felt a little bit dissatisfied.

Su Yi Cheng answered directly at his mother. “Mom, I have something here now. Later, I will call you.”

“I take less excuse to stall, to understand you, to come back at night but you didn’t come back” This was about his son played some trick before. Her mother did not believe Su Yi Cheng, instinctively said. “Your father and your grandfather, although the lips did not say anything, but my heart is still remembered you. You said you move out and you always want to back once a month, but you always say busy with work. How can you busy. I see Mr. Chang will be free. He often come to your dad also to your grandfather to play chess and chat. Is he not a PARTY ** thing you much? I see you make excuses to not go home. ”

Su Yi Cheng really was defeated by her mother. He smiled apologetically toward Anran, then he made a compromise at the mobile phone and said “Ok. I know. I would go back in the evening, so good it!”

“It is also about that” Su mother satisfied , and later told a few, then hung up the phone.

Su Yi Cheng hung up the phone. He was about to ask Anran what she wanted, but, Anran robbed the chance first.

“Gu Anran. Mu Feng, right? It was Lin, no, it should be your colleague, Cheng Xiang, who introduced us. Well, h.e.l.lo.” Then she held out her hand towards the man. In fact, in front of this man, he looked more handsome than what Lin had told her. It seemed Lin forget to tell her something else. she so confused that she only knew his name was Mu feng, except that he was Cheng Xiang colleagues in a securities company.

Su Yi Cheng stunned and shook hand with her. She just said the words and he listened confusedly. Who is Anran? Who is Mu Feng? Who is Lin? Who is Cheng Xiang? What is what ah!

“Gu Anran, actually, I -” He just about to open his mouth, the cellphone rang again. Su Yi Cheng smiled sorry toward Anran and picked up the phone. He pressed the answer b.u.t.ton. It was secretary Zheng’s call. He informed encountering rush hour now, so the car directly in the City of Victoria. He estimated that even half an hour to come, he would wait a long time for fear, so he specifically called to tell him first.

He put down the phone. When he just about to open his mouth again, it rang again. It was  the munic.i.p.al call. It informed the meeting on economic construction and development of the city in the afternoon. He postponed the meeting to be held on Monday morning.

Until he put down the phone again, but before he could speak, Anran smiled first. “You look really busy, ah” From when she came to the present, he almost did not break through the phone.

Su Yi Cheng smiled, on this issue he did not want to say any more.

” I say some of my basic situation first, right.” Anran looked at him. She spoke. “I am twenty-eight this year. I have a job, economic independence, and live in home with my parents. My father is high school teacher and my mother is cas.h.i.+er at a state-owned enterprise. I was an only child, and I am in good health, and there is no family genetic history. ”

Su Yi Cheng listened this opening, he seemed sort of understand. He leaned his body back in a chair and his mouth slowly brought back the smile that looming in his face. The woman he had met three times before, this was the fourth time. However, it was his third time to see her blind date. This one was not the only time that she and her blind date exchanged further information, but the result seemed it gone bad. But this time, sadly, she met the wrong target. He reached for the coffee in table, sipped it, then continue to listen to her.

Seeing him without a word, Anran continued. “In fact, at this age, like us, our  purpose of blind date is very clear. it was simply to try finding a mate for their life together. As for love, it seems to have pa.s.sed us now. So, if it’s appropriate, will you marry me? ” She tired. She don’t want to wait any longer by dating and if marriage was the final outcome, she wanted to directly go on the outcome of those process.

“Keke Keke …… cough …… ” Su Yi Cheng had been choking her words. He blushed.

Anran handed him the paper towel and asked “Are you okay?”

Su Yi Cheng took it over. He shook his head and looked at her. “You, what did  you just say?” Because his choked voice, it sounded a little strange.

Anran saw his eyes, and said: “Because of my economic independence, so I don’t rely on your life. Laundry, home cooking, and some other household ch.o.r.es, I can be competent. I don’t need a great wedding, even don’t need a dinner party. if you can, tomorrow, we go to licensing registration.”

Su Yi Cheng looked at her. His brow wrinkled badly at first, then slowly ease off. He chuckled, shook his head, and said “I’ll have no time.”

Anran stunned. She had clear understanding of the point then quickly nodded, “I understand.” She got ready to leave. She thought, it was the first they met and I had asked him to get married, who wants to do that.

“Gu Anran” Seeing her wanted to go,Su Yi Cheng also stood and stopped her. He asked her “That, we meet first and there is no understanding such a marriage, doesn’t it feel too hasty?”

Anran looked back at him and said “What I understand is to const.i.tutes a family, some people intentionally get married. Even a few years or even a lifetime, you do not necessarily understand the nature of your man. So to understand his temperament and to care about him need some length of time and a thorough look at some things. Sometimes it seems ugly and sometimes it looks blur, only hazy beauty. ”

They quieted for a moment. Su Yi Cheng looked at her as if thinking about something. Anran still saw him without a word then turned her heels to leave. Suddenly She heard slightly magnetic voice behind her said “This afternoon, I’m free.” Anran stunned. There was a faint smile on his eye as he said “Now, come with me to eat lunch?”

Hearing his response, Anran frozen for a while then turned back on the seat.
