I’m sorry for the late upate. I resigned from my workplace before in the end of last year, and got to a new workplace in the beginning of this year. This new job made me really exhausted. well, with new place and new surroundings, I forgot about my translation for a while. I’m really sorry. I mean it.

His stumbled embrace seemed less and less warm. The rustling sound was not great, but it did not disturb the peacefully sleeping Anran. Dazedly, Anran opened her eyes. The room was dark, only a few rays of dawn light was breaking in through the curtains, but still, it was not bright.

Slowly, Anran turned her head and saw that Su Yi Cheng had gone out of bed. He was standing in front of the wardrobe and had already put on sportswear. Then he turned around and saw Anran’s drowsy eyes. He grinned, ” Did I wake you up?”

Anran did not answer, only looked at him. Her sleepy eyes faded. Slowly, she could see clearly the outline of his figure. He wore loose sportswear. He looked brighter, more energetic, younger but not as young as a teenager, he seemed to look like a college student.

Seeing her without a word, Su Yi Cheng went towards her. He squatted beside the bed, reached and probed at her forehead. He confirmed himself that there was no fever. His eyes were determined to look at her eyes. He put down his hand from her forehead, then he asked her with a smile in his face, “How is your body? Are you feeling uncomfortable?”

Anran was looking at him, then she shook her head. Her hands slowly covered his large palm. She felt really strange. This terrible habit was really good. She had to remember his temperature, his big palm which was rubbing her, his face which was grinding her feeling. She had to remember that this man gave his all.

Su Yi Cheng smiled. He looked down at her forehead then gently kissed it. He said, “Sleep for a while. It’s still early.”

“You should go.” Anran stammered staring him straight in the eye.

Su Yi Cheng chuckled then he stood up, saying, “I am going to run, you sleep for a while.” Every day, he had jogging along with his Grandpa in the courtyard before. This habit born from his childhood time, was then pa.s.sed down the years. Even if he was not living in the compound, he could not erase it. Early morning exercise seemed to be an essential part of his life.

Anran nodded, then she turned and looked at him as he went out. She was lying in bed, without his arms, without his temperature, she felt that somehow, sleep seemed to be difficult thing.

Her eyes was open while she was in bed for half an hour. The dawn had become increasingly clear. The originally dark room was slowly becoming bright. Anran stood up and got out of bed. Yesterday, she did not wash and directly went to sleep. Although Su Yi Cheng took a hot towel to help her clean before, but now her whole body felt a little uncomfortable. She took a change of clothes from the closet then directly went into the bathroom.

Anran went out from the bathroom when the time was 6:30. The room was brightly lit. She opened the window’s curtains, then opened the window. Incidentally, she opened the balcony door. She walked to the balcony, the morning breeze was blowing in her face. It felt clear and cool. Her eyes closed. Standing on the balcony early in the morning to let the morning breeze blow at her cheeks, it was a very enjoyable thing. It seemed to purify everything, making her forget all the unpleasant things.

Anran heard that someone had once said it before, whether it was true or not, but at this moment, standing with eyes closed, her heart felt very calm, a kind of clear and cool feeling. It was very comfortable.

When Su Yi Cheng came back, he saw from the bar that Anran was busy in the kitchen. She had a spatula in her right hand and a pan in her left hand, frying. She placed two pieces of toast on the toaster.  Two gla.s.ses and plates were on the table on which were a few pieces of already baked toast. It was slightly burnt.

He was watching her busying herself from behind the bar. It seemed that she was careless. Her hands unintentionally touched the hot pan. She groaned softly and busily grabbed her ears. Watching her behavior, Su Yi Cheng was dumbfounded.  He was quietly leaning against the front door of the kitchen, he laughed.

Anran finally put the golden baked ham down on the prepared dish from the pan. She fried eggs before the ham. Anran nodded with satisfaction. When she turned to the bar to prepare the breakfast, she was surprised for a moment, and asked, “You, what time did you come in?” She did not hear the sound of his walking. Why she did not perceive it?

Su Yi Cheng laughed at her. He glanced at the breakfast in her hands. His face was showing her a big smile and said, “Really, it looks good to eat.” and then he reached out taking slices of ham, unafraid of them being hot, then put it into his own mouth. He said, ” It’s delicious.”

Anran was stunned, looking at his little childish act. Then, she stammered, “You …… You did not wash your hands.”

Su Yi Cheng was stunned. His heart felt funny. This girl really was a little insensitive. Thinking about it, he looked down. Then with his mouth which was still stained with oil, directly imprinted it on her mouth. His tongue was prying open her teeth, and then her tongue was dancing with his tongue.

Anran was kissed by him. In his mouth, she could taste the faint aroma of ham. Her nose could smell him because the kiss was leaving a sweet taste, a very real existence.

Su Yi Cheng kissed her for a moment before letting her go. Watching her smiling face flushed because of the kiss, he smiled joyously. He looked down again at her mouth, then said, “I’m going to take a shower. ” He turned into the master bedroom.

Anran stood there silly, holding the plate. For a moment, she could not answer quickly. When she regained her awareness, Su Yi Cheng had already taken the clothes and gone into the bathroom. Looking at the plate in her hands, then thinking about the kiss just now, Anran’s face blushed. Her mouth could not help but evoke laughter lightly and a very nice smile.

Su Yi Cheng had a quick bath and then went out of the room. At that time, Anran had gracefully prepared breakfast at the bar. She was pouring a gla.s.s of milk.

Su Yi Cheng came to sit in the high chair, watching his plate in front of him. A poached egg, three hams, two micro-focused toast, and a cup of hot milk. His sharp eyes found her tray only had a poached egg and toast, and only that little ham, his brow slightly wrinkled. He asked “Did you put the whole ham into my plate?”

. “I, I am on a diet.” Anran said, biting down on the toast. Then, she drank a gla.s.s of milk.

His eyebrows wrinkled up. His face looked serious, “You lost enough weight.” Then, he put the whole three hams from his plate into Anran’s plate.

Anran was staring at the hams on her plate, and then looked at him, and her heart cursed, ‘Fool, you like to eat. Before, all of the dish went into your belly! ‘

Seeing she did not move, Su Yi Cheng bit a big mouthful of toast, urgingly said, “Come eat. After we eat, I’ll take you to a place.”

“Go? Go where?” Anran asked, suddenly thinking, “Well, I have to go to work. ”

Su Yi Cheng amusedly patted her head and smiled, saying “Silly. Today is Sat.u.r.day. There is no work.”
