Sapphire was not the type of woman to cry and wallow in sorrow when left behind by her husband. At that time, she just cried because of the argument and because he suddenly left. She then waited all night for him to return - and it didn't happen. So, what should she do?

Be sad? Cry? Wait for his return?

Hah!

No way! If Johann doesn't want to go back then she won't be a pathetic wife caging herself inside a small house until her husband gets home.

And so the next morning, after waking up, she immediately prepared herself and dressed up. She wore her most expensive and most beautiful outfit, she called the driver from her Grandma's mansion, and ordered him to bring over her Porsche.

She won't go sulking at some corner. She'll surround herself with luxury!

Wearing a sleeveless light orange crop top; white high-waist pants - which is fitting and also covering her navel; a pair of four-inch Manola Blahnik stiletto; and s.h.i.+ning jewelries, she marched out of the bungalow and gracefully boarded the expensive-looking car. The people of the neighborhood were staring at her but why would she care?

She will be the one driving while the driver will watch out for the house. "Make sure that the house is safely locked," she said as she handed the house key to him. "If ever my husband came home, tell him to go to h.e.l.l."

"Senyorita?" he muttered with confusion.

It seems the driver couldn't believe what she said. But, whatever. She wore her Gucci shades and drove away.

The scent inside her car made her smile. She hadn't used her Porsche for so long. And she missed the smell of being rich! This is really where a Sapphire Monteverde belongs to. Now she's questioning herself why she followed Johann's whims before.

Suddenly, the thought of her husband made her snort.

She reached out for her IPhone which was inside the pocket of her Louis Vuitton bag. For the nth time, she tried to contact Haley, Lavender and Crystal Jane. But those good cousins of her were really not answering her calls. It's either, the phone would only ring again and again and made her bored to the point she would eventually end the call, or it would say 'out of coverage area'. What the heck? Since her birthday, she could no longer meet her cousins. Do they have to be that angry for what she and Johann did on that night?

"What the h.e.l.l, girls? What makes you all busy and you can't even pick up your freaking phones and return my calls?" She recorded the voice record using an exaggerated tone. She was planning to send that voice message to her cousins.

"Please, if you receive this VM, call me, text me, viber me - Ugh! Whatever! Just… just talk to me. I miss you, girls. I miss our spa sessions. Show yourselves to me. Please!" She concluded the voice message with stressed words.

She went to check her future bookstore and exactly when she arrived there, the engineer who supervises everything about the construction was there. The five-storey bookstore that was being constructed already has the foundations and pillars. At the least, Sapphire could now see what her future bookstore will be and that really calms her nerves. She couldn't deny that this was the good result of marrying Johann.

She only stayed there for an hour because the place was hot and she couldn't tolerate the heat. She left the construction site and went to the main branch of Monteverde Hotel - or rather called now as Anderson - Monteverde Hotel.

She drove there because she's starving and the place has always been her favorite when wanting to eat very expensive food. One more thing, whenever the staffs saw her there, they will pamper her. The chefs will also put more effort in cooking. Why? Because she's the cousin of the owner. And partly, they, the other cousins, also have shares in all of the hotels and it can be said that they're co-owners.

And when she arrived there, the staffs had really begun paying her more attention. Oh, she loves being rich!

"Give me your chef's best," she told the waitress who attended to her. Only a waitress could face her because everyone knows that she's a man-hater.

When the waitress left, she fetched her IPAD and started to browse her Instagram. She plans to get herself busy with this while waiting for her food.

But then, accidents happen. Sapphire screamed as she felt some cold liquid wetting her back. She suddenly stood up.

"Ma'am, I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry!" the waiter who accidentally spilled the cold water on her apologizes.

"Stupid!" she hissed. The glare she let out was very sharp.

"I'm so sorry, Ma'am. I'll get you a towel - "

"Shut up!" she replied without raising her voice. She has breeding. At this scene where people were already staring at them, she won't go wild to tarnish her reputation.

The waiter continued to say his sorry while having this look that tells how he really didn't mean to do it. Meanwhile, the female manager immediately came out to guide her into a room where she could change her clothes.

"I want him fired," she commanded the manager.

"M-Ma'am? I c-can't do that because it's not due to a major accident - "

"What? He poured water on me!" she shouted when they got inside a private room.

"We're sorry about that, Ma'am. It's purely an accident. We already asked for a set of clothes from the hotel's fas.h.i.+on boutique and - "

"No! I want him fired! You'll fire him or I'll fire you? You choose!" she viciously stated.

The poor manager s.h.i.+vered in fright. "M-Ma'am S-Sapphire… what happened is - "

She raised a brow at her. "You just have to choose! Stop saying so many nonsense. It's annoying! In the first place, you should not have hired an incompetent man!"

"Sapphire!"

Both she and the manager turned their heads to the person who called out to her. Her cousin, Reeve, has arrived, and he's glaring at her. Warning her. Ordering her to shut up.
