Finding Glowing Beauty in Books Chapter 35 Part1

Its Monday again! Goodness…. the weekend has flown by so quickly. Another 4 days to Lunar New Year! To those celebrating, hope that your preparation is coming along well. I am definitely not ready… ? having just returned from my Conference yesterday, guess this year Lunar New Year celebration for me would be on a smaller scale…. 

Anyway, as a standard now, moving forward all our post would be pre-scheduled. So forgive us for delayed in respond to any comment but do keep those comment coming as we love reading them!

Happy Reading! Seems to me that Lan Ning still has not realised how much Yan Ru Yu and his family means to her but we know from her small gesture…. hahahaha…. 

Chapter 35.1: 

Lan Ning struggled to 11 o'clock at night. She did almost a thousand stamp. The rest can only be continued tomorrow. She stretched out and said to Yan Ru Yu whom was reading on the couch: 'Or do I bring some back to stamp instead of coming over to your place everyday.'

Yan Ru Yu turned a page and looked up at her: 'I do not trust the seal with you. If you accidentally lost it or you take to stamp some other strange thing?'

Lan Ning: '……'

She can understand the part about losing the seal but what is this about using it for other strange thing!

'Well, I will come back tomorrow night.'She put on her coat, picked up the bag and left. After arriving home, she did not bother to do stretch exercises, showered and directly went to bed. The next day, before it is even six o'clock, she got up and went to the kitchen to boil the soup.

Because there is not enough time, she did a simple stewed dish. She carried the inculation pot of soup and took the taxi to the Central Hospital.

Yesterday, when saying goodbye to Uncle Yan, she said that she will go and see him again today. But she really does not have time as she also need to head to Teacher's place at night to become a slave. So, can only visit him early in the morning to give him the soup.

Fortunately, when she arrives, Father Yan was up. She knocked on the door and greeted: 'Uncle, good morning.'

Father Yan was reading the newspaper. After hearing her voice, he looked up in surprise to see her: 'So early?'

'Yes' Lan Ning smiled and walked in. 'Yesterday, I said I will come to see you again. But I must go to work during the day, so only could come in the morning. Oh right, I boiled the soup. I hope you do enjoy it.'

Father Yan saw the pot of soup in her hand and placed on the table next to the bed. 'Thank you. Really trouble you.' He looked at the door and asked: 'Did you come alone?'

'Yes. Teacher should be….. busy writing.' Lan Ning swallowed 'Still in bed'

Father Yan laughed twice and said: 'Raising a daughter is good. Caring.'

Lan Ning was a bit embarra.s.sed by him: 'Uncle, you do not say that. Teacher is actually very worried about you. Yesterday when he heard that you were hospitalized, he hastily rushed over.' Seeing that Father Yan face looks much better than yesterday, she asked: 'How are you feeling today?'

'Much better' Father Yan looked at her. His mouth slowly overflowing with a little laughter. 'Ru Yu having a friend like you, to be honest, I am very surprise.'

Lan Ning hehe twice in her heart. In fact, she is also quiet surprise.

'Since his mother left, he has become lonely.' Father Yan looked out of the window, his eyes on the birds tweeting on the branches of trees. 'When Yu Ru was a child, he liked to be close to people. His character was much loveable. His mother's leacing had a great influence on him. I watched him before silent day by day and could not enlighten him.'

Lan Ning raised her mouth. The story of Yan Ru Yu home, she had heard him mentioning before. His mother sudden disappearance, leaving only a divorce agreement. Not only it was a big blow to him, it was also a big blow to Uncle Yan.

She was silent for a moment and then asked cautiously: 'Since then, Teacher had not ever seen his mother?'

Father Yan shook his head: 'I only met her once when signing the divorce agreement. She should already have a new family already.'

Lan Ning suddenly felt a little distress for Yan Ru Yu. Although the mother can have new children, but he always will have only one mother.

'Hai, why am I telling you all these?' said Uncle Yan, smiling at her. 'Must be because I am getting old, so speak nonsence.'

Lan Ning shook her head and said: 'You drink the soup while it is still hot. I will collect the soup pot another day.'

'Ok.'

'Then good. Uncle goodbye. I go to work first.' She smiled and say goodbye to Uncle Yan and then walked out of the ward.

Busy day in the company. After getting off work in the evening, she had to non-stop rushed to Yan Ru Yu home to continue stamping. She thought, if goes on like this, she would be overworked.

She stood in front of Yan Ru Yu's home, impatiently pressed the doorbell.

After the door was opened, Yan Ru Yu stood at the foor witn an ap.r.o.n on. Lan Ning smiled at him and said: 'Teacher, I am here to continue stamping.'

Yan Ru Yu step aside to let her in. He chuckles loudly: 'If you know this is the conclusion, why bother back then.'

Lan Ning pulled her mouth and did not answer.
