Chapter 507 FightTranslated by newbienoona

Han Qilu stops in his tracks upon hearing the words. He seems to have focused on the statement, “An Chuxia hasn't returned home”.
He squints his eyes as he turns, flas.h.i.+ng Dongyu a dangerous glare. “You seemed to be a little too concerned about her, huh?”
He hears the words, but spewing [the accusation] leaves a bad taste in his mouth.
A strange feeling fills Dongyu's heart. Has Han Qilu recovered from his amnesia? Otherwise, he shouldn't be reacting this way regarding An Chuxia. More so, shouldn't he be concerned especially now that he has a celebrity girlfriend? Rich young master, aren't you impervious to these thoughts?
Liu Dongyu jabs Qilu with a thought. “Of course I care about An Chuxia. She is both smart and beautiful. Who wouldn't want to care about her?”
He sees the young master tightly clench his jaw. Lines strain tightly like an angered lion.
"You like her?”
Liu Dongyu knows not to mess with the young master, but he can't control himself. “Can I not?”
The three words anger Han Qilu. One hand quickly clutches Dongyu's collar, while the other forms a fist and hits Dongyu on the nose.
Blood starts to run out of Dongyu's nose after the punch. Although his emotions are chaotic, Dongyu allows him to hit him again. This time, Qilu punches him near the corner of his eye.
“Son of a bit*h!” Liu Dongyu tries to escape after Han Qilu tries to hit him again. Han Qilu is p.i.s.sed after Dongyu threatened him about his affections for Chuxia. The words made him furious.
“Young master, don't!” People from the garage run out to persuade Qilu from punching Dongyu. Neither of them, however, is backing down from the fight. The servants get between them so they separate.
Steward Han is summoned from the hall once the other servants tell him what's happening. “The young master is beating your son because of the lady!” the maid says. They all scurry to the spot where they're fighting.
“Do you think you're so great because you live in the Han mansion? You think you can casually hurt anyone?!” Liu Dongyu's fist connects with Qilu's body.
Han Qilu is able to stop Dongyu's fist from connecting. “I didn't hurt anyone!”
“Then what about Chuxia? You dare say you didn't hurt her? Even an outsider like me knows you're spouting bulls.h.i.+t!” Liu Dongyu pulls his fist back and tries to punch him again.
Han Qilu s.h.i.+fts rapidly before kicking Dongyu in the stomach as he curses, “You'll realize that it's not my fault!”
The contact is enough to make Dongyu crumple to the ground. When he tries to get up, he starts panicking as he recognizes the figures rapidly walking toward them.
Upon seeing the look on Dongyu's face, Han Qilu follows his line of sight and looks.
“Both of you, stop!” Jiang Yuan says as no one dares to speak. What she sees isn't two people fighting, but limp bodies with different shades. Han Qilu seems slightly better with bruises welling at the corner of his mouth and near his eye. Dongyu didn't fare as well.
Their school uniforms are dirty. Dongyu's white short sleeve s.h.i.+rt is torn, a large hole gaping.
“Why don't you continue fighting?” Jiang Yuan rolls her eyes. “I want to write a fight scene, so let me see it.”
“I'm not interested.” Han Qilu walks around her. Before he completely walks away, he says to steward Han, “Steward Han, don't blame him. I hit him first.”
“Is… .” Steward Han's tone remains respectful, but he looks at Dongyu lazily.
With so few of them around, Jiang Yuan realizes she doesn't even see An Chuxia's shadow. “Stop!”
“What?” Han Qilu impatiently states, slowing down his footsteps but not bothering to stop.
“Where is An Chuxia? Didn't you come home with her?”
Her voice falls, and Han Qilu immediately turns to face her. “She hasn't come home?”
Everyone is surprised. Steward Han tries to calm everyone by asking, “Young master, didn't you say you were coming back home with xiaonainai? She hasn't come home by herself.”
“She left ahead of me…,” he says before kicking a piece of wood in front of him. “d.a.m.n it, where did she end up going?”
An Chuxia pretty much keeps to herself, that is evident. Now that the sun is down, and she hasn't come home, he knows something is wrong.
“My head hurts… .” Jiang Yuan rubs her temples as she starts losing balance.
“Madame, go back and rest, and let me handle this. Dongyu, call An Chuxia and the school and ask if they've seen her.” He nods to Jiang Yuan before turning his back to bark orders.
Han Qilu hastens his pace to quickly get to the garage.
“Where are you going?!” A surprised Jiang Yuan asks as she sees her son break into a hundred meter dash.
Running, he replies, “Stay at home and tell me where to go as I look for her!”
Where would An Chuxia go in the dark? Liu Dongyu dials her phone. but a mechanical female voice says, “I'm sorry, the number you have dialed is turned off.”
“What? Did she pick up the phone?” Jiang Yuan asks anxiously.
Dongyu reluctantly shakes his head. “It's shut off.”
“Oh no! What can we do?” Jiang Yuan starts walking in circles. “I'm calling Liuhai.”
She talks to herself as she walks back to the house. Afraid of Jiang Yuan's condition, Liu Dongyu follows her back. Then, she hears her say, “It's too early to alarm him. An Chuxia probably had to run an errand and is on her way back. She probably just turned off her phone. But then again… .”
Truth is, there is no right answer, but waiting at home won't solve anything. Once Jiang Yuan
reaches the door, the servant opens the door for her.
“Give me my cell phone. I'm calling Liuhai,” she commands loudly as she continues to pace.

In an enclosed s.p.a.ce, two people sit near each other. A file separates them. Han Liuhai laughs deeply. “Long time, no see.”
Today would've been one of the days Mankuai wishes she can turn back time, but she was too much in a hurry to leave. She wasn't able to tell Chaijie where she was going. Instead, she told her to leave when she slaps her sungla.s.ses on before getting into the car waiting for her at the side of the road. She should've realized it was Han Liuhai waiting on her.
“Long time, no see.” Xiang Mankuai replies, depressed. She tries to hide her emotions as she places her bag next to her. “Would you please open the sunroof and let the sun in?”
He complies since he knows he's getting more from this. He will claim her old home, and she won't be able to make concessions regarding it.
“Ha ha ha.” Liuhai picks up his drink. “You're so impatient. Why don't you drink some tea? It's a bit bitter, but it's flavorful.”
She prefers coffee over tea.
Mankuai disregards Liuhai's offer, and pushes the cup of tea away. She crosses her arms before looking at him coldly. “I'll never make concessions about my house. Why must you do this to my family, Mr. Chairman?”
If only it was just because of the land. The Hans don't really care about it. He just wants to acquire the house in vengeance.
He interrupts her thoughts as she ponders. “I used a lot of money to squelch all the gossip regarding you and Qilu. People owe me favors.”
“Really?” She asks coldly, her eyes filled with disdain. “Are you looking down on your son, too?”
Her words may be barbed with thorns, but her temper is no match for the needle he wields with his words. He doesn't have to speak his heart out in anger.
“Give me the ground your house is on,” Liuhai says as he hands her the file. “I'll only ask you once politely. Are you going to sign the contract?” He says this without smiling. She knows he's filled with anger, and she's prepared to firmly refuse him. But she knows she should calm him down first.
With a clear mind, she knows that Han Liuhai's success with the mall means he was willing to climb walls and people to achieve his purpose, regardless of cost.
“Why?” She asks, clenching her hand. “Why can't I stand next to Han Qilu?”
Han Liuhai has his reasons, and one of them is her facing the consequences of what she did to Qilu. But regardless of whether she signs the contract, he'll take away her house.
