School had started for 10 days, and Feng Yu did not appeareven once. He did not apply for any leave, and the University was worried abouthim and called him.

“Feng Yu, where were you the past few days? Why you did notattend my lessons?”
“Professor Liang, I went back to China. My company has somematters to attend.”
“You have a company in China?” Professor Liang wa.s.surprised. But after he thought about it, he felt it was also reasonable. FengYu was from China, and China’s financial industry had just started and theeconomy there will be much better than Hong Kong in the future. But currently,Hong Kong’s conditions were still better than the mainland. Hong Kong was stillone of the world’s top financial hub now.
“Yes. I have a few companies in China.” Feng Yu repliedmodestly.
A few? Professor Liang had thought highly of Feng Yu, but itseems that he had still belittled this young man.
“What does your company back in China do? Also in thefinance sector?”
Feng Yu shook his head: “The financial market in China isnot good. It cannot be compared to Hong Kong or the Western countries. Myinvestments in China are mainly physical a.s.sets in other industries.”
No investors will only trade in the financial market. Theywill invest in some physical a.s.sets. It would be risky for someone to put alltheir money in the financial markets. If the market crash, they might lose alltheir money. With physical a.s.sets like businesses in other industries, theycould still make a comeback.
Professor Liang had spoken to Feng Yu about this. But atthat time, he was unaware that Feng Yu had other businesses.
“Professor Liang, I will be going back to China in July. Iam not sure when is the next time I come back to Hong Kong. You really don’twant to manage Wind and Rain Consulting’s funds? If you think Wind and RainConsulting funds is too small, I can increase it.” Feng Yu tried to inviteProfessor Liang again.
Professor Liang laughed and shook his head. “I had saidbefore. The US stock market is doing well now. With your understanding of the market,you should be able to earn high returns when you invest. You do not need me tohelp you.”
“Then if one day I have to face George Soros and otherfinancial predators from the western countries, will you help me?” Feng Yuasked in a serious tone.
Professor Liang’s face changed. “You want to go againstQuantum Funds? If you really have the abilities, I will be interested injoining in. It’s time for those western predators to pay their dues!”
