Even though everyone in front of him was engaged in a life and death battle Hao Xuan's warning did not fall on deaf ears, especially once they noticed the unsettling amount of energy gathering right behind their backs.

Most experienced fighters did not even have to look back and simply moved out of the way as fast as they possibly could while a few guards and greenhorn cultivators turned around to see just who it was that was jumping in at this crucial moment.

Almost 10 meters of s.p.a.ce directly in front of him was cleared almost instantly which allowed the grunts to break into their lines in a frenzy.

Most techniques or battle skills with multiple move sets are centered around one specific move that could also be referred to as the ultimate move or skill.

All the other skills are known as secondary skills and are used to either build up to that ultimate skill or during the 'off-time' until the ultimate skill could be used again.

When Hao Xuan mentioned he wanted to start things off with a bang he really did mean it and actually started from the ultimate skill because it fell in that rare category that did not require any build-up whatsoever.

With enough Qi and spiritual energy it could be executed at any time without any other requirements.

The concentrated energy gathered around his fists creating a unique visual and auditory phenomenon that looked like a ball of fire with an empty black core.

It was hovering right in front of his chest, in between the fists that were like conductors adding more and more power to it.

The heat was so intense that it began to melt the very ground he was standing on. All loose debris and rubble within 5 meters of him began floating up into the air as a new gravity field emerged around the concentrated ball of plasma.

Hao Xuan felt like he was holding the sun in his hands and going by the looks alone he wasn't wrong. His gums started bleeding from gritting his teeth too hard until he finally let go.

It moved in a straight line for almost 80 meters and after every 8 meters the gravity field around it doubled for a total of ten times.

When it finally reached max distance it had pulled in every grunt within a 160 meters radius.

And something of that size caught the eye of everyone on the battlefield, man and corrupted beast.

Rhisiat who was fighting with the Elites in his beast form had to do a double-take to see what was going on and even then he couldn't wrap his mind around that anomaly.

And then as silently as it was created, the final stage of the skill was executed, the reason it was called "Daybreak".

The humungous ball of squirming grunts suddenly halved in size from 160 meters to 80, instantly killing every single one of them. It looked like a solid ma.s.s at that point that was leaking from all over.

Cracks appeared around the surface followed by a bright yellow light that was increasing in intensity.

Hao Xuan slowly covered his ears just as the ball exploded, shooting forward for the second time.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

The white light began to cover everything as it expanded for the next 500 meters. The shockwave sent almost every person within a kilometer running for cover and the subsequent earthquake almost brought the entire city wall down in one swift blow.

Hao Xuan's brow furrowed as he looked around at the aftershocks, dodging the falling rocks left and right.

'I don't remember it being this powerful. With my current level it should not have been this strong. Was it me or executing the skill in reality was different from in there?'
